$400 a month to maintain, what a racket

$4800 a year to tend to plants on a wall, to say nothing of the initial installment cost. Gas where I live is 4.89 a gallon at this moment. Hmmmm. Hire someone to trim your plants, or be able to afford close to 1000 gallons of gas to get to work. I don’t work remotely, so that probably factors in too. What a world we live in. I have plants in my house and a backyard and when my children were little, we actually went outside and played, didn’t stare at a wall. I’ll bet you Afghani women and children or the Ukrainians would love to be able to have these kinds of concerns….pretty freakin’ pretentious.

It’s lovely as a piece of art…must be nice to have 5000$ a year to spend on art. Maybe I’ll get there someday…lol

Let me start off by saying these walls are absolutely beautiful would love one in my home all the benefits would be amazing. Now you interviewed someone who was completely vapid in her knowledge of what’s in her house paid $18,000 for someone to install it $400 a month to maintain it. Then made it seem like this is what everyone’s doing now. That is some serious rich ladies that lunch thing to say. Also what’s this about patterns are you saying I can’t go and do this myself ? Turned something beautiful into something crass .

Summer Rayne Oakes made her own and it costs her almost nothing to maintain. THAT I can afford!

Not the worst investment for property value in luxury apartments if it were one time cost. that maintenance is insane and really kills all value.

If you work at Meta, Google, Apple, Amazon, Netflix or Microsoft, its a bargain. As for me, I’ll go to a park for free and save my 18 grand. You get free fresh air too.

Its pretty but I laughed out loud to hear its more expensive than my car that took me 7 years to pay off. 17,995 dollars equals 7 years of payments. So nice to see rich people want to be more natural. $400 per month is actually more than my rent in low income disabled housing. Stop pretending we live in a country of rich people. Its poor people then Silicon Valley. Gas costs $5.39-$6.29 a gallon in CA. I’m willing to pay more to support democracy in Ukraine but when people say America is a wealthy country its not. Its poverty and islands of wealth.

Too much money for plants. Can’t make that in my budget but it’s cool if you can afford it

  19. John Young on June 14, 2022 at 12:16 am

    $18000 👀

Love the green walls at Apple stores — you sit in front of them and you do feel the cooler temperature, and you can breathe easier. $18k initial and $400/mo for a private wall is crazy, but you do with your money as you please. I’ll stick with a couple of plants and visit botanical gardens and parks as often as I can.

they call it "nature" when it’s just houseplants stuck into a vertical structure. Big deal?

  22. drvannozzun on June 14, 2022 at 12:23 am

$5,000 per year for plant wall maintenance, that is stupid

  23. I WANT MY SLAW!! on June 14, 2022 at 12:24 am
