In this project, we help revive a dated food stand into an eye catching modern Mexican food joint in Houston Taxes.
First we removed all stainless-steel wall lining and replaced with grey color loft style glass tiles as the backsplash to protect the lower portions of the walls.
Next we are adding in custom print wall paper to bring in the bold graphics that highlight the logo and theme of the restaurant. For about $1200, the dark stainless steel walls are instantly brightened up with style.
Without changing any of the structure, the old soffit is being face lifted with a coat of chocolate color glass tiles.
By keeping the menu board and the soffit, bigger portions of the budget can now be spent on buying nicer materials such as wall paper, glass tiles and chandeliers.
To add in drama, 4 organic shape chandeliers replaced the old pendants to catch more attentions from the public.
The small round bulbs on the chandeliers resemble to fish eggs that tie in with the joint’s seafood theme.
To further reinforce the seafood concept, small penny-tiles are installed on the counter die to look like fish scales, with 3-dimensional wood sculptures that highlight the body of the fish.
Lastly, LED under-the-counter light is bringing the abstract fish to live.
Here is another eye-catching project completed with cost effective ideas!
