    Make a $1.20 a mile (one way)
    Truck $70K
    Fuel
    Insurance
    Maintenance
It all equals out to NOT MAKING ANY MONEY.

  5. Phat Bassturd on December 15, 2022 at 1:40 am

i think you really need to mention the names of some of the bad manufacturers. for us newbies looking for our first trailer it would really help to know who to stay away from

Boy blowing smoke so far up your butt I work at RV dealerships I met countless transporters they don’t make crap. They hate their job. They’re always overworked and they don’t get to pick where or when they go. It’s easy to find one at the dealership cause they’re always the pissed off guy in the corner. That’s all sweaty and looks like he’s had the same clothes on for three days.

  9. Mike Johnson on December 15, 2022 at 1:47 am

The RV industry needs to stop using cheap chinese designed tires. I know most tires probably made in china but name brands high quality tires designed in America have better quality control.

  10. David Smith on December 15, 2022 at 1:47 am

I did RV transport for years. With Horizon and all of them. After wearing out a 70k truck for what a company driver makes in a semi. I went and bought one. Make 6-7k NET after fuel weekly and home every day. Power only. No logs. No sleeping in a pickup. 10 minutes at load and delivery. Hardly ever get out of the truck. Own several trucks. Couldn’t imagine going back to RVs.

  11. Squid Trader on December 15, 2022 at 1:47 am

When buying from a private owner what does the transporter needs to move the trailer or fifth wheel from owner’s property to deliver to final destination?

  17. Frederick John Picarello on December 15, 2022 at 1:56 am

I’ve heard most of those 5th wheelers are made like complete dog shyt!’ & let just one lil scratch happen to it while you’re hauling & there goes half your pay..🤔

I was a master RV tech for over thirty five years until I became disabled in 2014. Everything they’re saying is very accurate! I could tell some stories! People would ask me the best RV to buy, I would just say don’t!

  24. Jalisco on December 15, 2022 at 2:03 am

  25. Cindy Keller on December 15, 2022 at 2:07 am

My Daddy was a long haul trucker. When he retired, he did this for many years. And loved it. As a matter of fact, he worked for this company.

  28. Cumulus Vapes on December 15, 2022 at 2:09 am

Super expensive truck, hitch, trailer, annnnnd… about the WORST fffn lock(literally), near no money can buy! I get it, sucks the way the manufacturer even made it for the lock! Just have someone weld on something better and get a good military (protected shackle) lock. Cheap insurance, if your ever away from the truck/trailer for awhile..

They are all poorly made grossly overpriced unsafe examples of american culture-less excess … made for piggish, vapid, spiritually bankrupt, obese, knuckle-headed fools whose only form of pleasure is smelling one another’s farts in expensive overcrowded ""campsites" in end of life reward for having a deceitful existence cheating others.

  43. Real Music on December 15, 2022 at 2:22 am

Can you do this work with a 1/2 ton?

  45. Ali on December 15, 2022 at 2:25 am

F450 you can’t go wrong! They pull and you don’t feel a load. I’ve done dodge. Feels like/sounds like a semi. Pulling capacity is not near the same.

So what brand is this rv he’s towing?

  49. Larry Smith on December 15, 2022 at 2:32 am

Vanleigh are the best by far. I’m a hauler and have hauled all of the newer models. Vanleigh models are manufactured in Burnsville Ms. They are pricey but are worth every penny.

  50. Tow Piglet on December 15, 2022 at 2:34 am

The 16 to 18 Ram trucks are the best and most reliable
