RVezy Review by Owners: Our Favorite RV Rental Solution to Make Money Renting Our Campervan (USA)

RVezy Review by Owners: Our Favorite RV Rental Solution to Make Money Renting Our Campervan (USA)

How we’re making up to 4k$ a month renting our RV to strangers. Find how much YOU CAN MAKE: https://bit.ly/calculator-rv-money

To start, here are 5 reasons why you should rent your RV:
1. For the extra income!
It’s a new opportunity to use your RV as a source of income when you’re not using it. It’s an easy way to have a side income. We’ve made $12,500 during our first summer and we rent it about 60% of the time, as we went travelling 4 weeks over the summer and we kept it for some weekends as well.(does not work) We could’ve made around 20K to 25K this summer if we’d rented it all the time.
2. To offset purchase and maintenance costs
RVs, campervans and trailers are expensive hobbies. We paid $71,000 for our Ford Transit 350 converted campervan. We put zero down with an 18 years loan at a 3.99% interest rate, so our monthly payments are $595 per month. The insurance is $130 per month, so the total cost per month is $725. Plus we’ve had to do oil changes ($120 each time) 4 times this summer, buy two new tires and change the brakes. So renting our unit allows us to offset our monthly payments and the maintenance costs.
3. It’s easy and fun.
4. For the power!
5. To meet like-minded people.

How does insurance work?

It’s easy, when you’re using your RV for personal use you’re covered by your own personal insurance policy. The minute your RV is rented through RVezy, on the trip start date, the insurance coverage switches over to RVezy’s rental policy and your RV is protected for the duration of the rental. After the rental is over, you’re back to your own personal coverage

Make sure to stick around until the end of this video ‘cause I’ll share a little tip that could help you drastically increase your potential revenue.

This is a great video! And thank you for the recommendation I hadn’t heard of RvEasy- my question is HOW DID YOU FINANCE YOUR VAN? I’m trying to buy one to get started with this business and so far, the credit unions and banks I’ve spoken to won’t finance a camper van.

I’m planning to start with complete open availability and slightly cheaper than market then migrating to these suggestions later on.

We have an Airbnb and if I have to wait for reviews to get paid I will never get my $$$. Airbnb charges 3% I just saw rvezy charges 20% holy cow that’s a lot!!!
Maybe we won’t rent it out it doesn’t sound worth it.

Just used RVEZY and will not use it again. So many problems. When i callled the "help" desk couldn’t help. I later found it that I had two accounts (no idea where the second one came from). I bought additiional insurance but I think I still paid for a window that was broken by a thrown rock from the tires of an 18 wheeler on HWY 40. I say I think because there was a dispute from the owner when I returned the vehicle. I was sent two emails about the "dispute" the first said I had one, the second said it had been settled. I called Rvezy and was told the person handling the dispute had left for the day and I he/she/it would return my call the next day. I didn’t get a call but did get an email saying the dispute had be settled but it looks like they are keep ing 450.00 USD from my desposit. That is after I paid an additional 350.00 USD for additiional insurance. Of course it might be something else, as I have NO idea nor can I get anyone to tell me what the dispute was. I enjoyed the trip and will rent again, but I will not be using RVezy. Oh, and there is NO way to leave a review on their webpage – that should have been an indicator for piss poor performance from the beginning.

How does pick up /drop off work? Do you have to meet the people each time?

Real question: Are you sponsored by outdoorsy?

Do not rent your Rv to newbies, they will be a pain in the neck, they will think that you are their servant and do everything for them

Do you only rent it out in the summer months?

Excellent video, went over a lot of questions I had in my mind. One thing I am curious about is why you didn’t choose Outdoorsy? Also, the idea of waiting for people to give a review before I get paid seems like a real pain. I own a sightseeing tour business and know how difficult this can be.
