Small But Quirky Kitchen TOUR, with charming kitchen vibe

Small But Quirky Kitchen TOUR, with charming kitchen vibe

I close my art studio during the winter and bring my art studio to the kitchen table.
It’s not as easy as it sounds…

I have a small kitchen which is a creatively designed space despite its quirky, but charming kitchen layout. It’s winter and I’m now painting on my rustic wood table for the duration of the cold weather. Drinking tea and painting. My small kitchen design works overtime as both a creative kitchen space and operating as a family kitchen. This is how an artist lives and works at home.

This kitchen was a renovation that never got completed from the 80s. Cabinets were removed to change the placement of the door which then strictly regulated counter space to five feet, this has created a number of challenging space issues which need some very creative kitchen solutions for storage and cooking; however, once resolved this kitchen has become a charming cottage-style kitchen space that I wouldn’t change for the world. How to work in a kitchen without a microwave? Our grandmothers did it and now so do I.
But I do have an all in one LG washer/dryer combo in this little space. It’s a brilliant add on to my work space. (LG is not a sponsor, I just love this machine)

See how I manage to live and work in my small kitchen space.

Oh wow, watching that path “grow” on the canvas was mesmerizing. Your brush looked like it always knew the path was there and was merely brushing away the fog.
