Love your van!! The elephant and crystal drawer pulls as well as the fabric for your “porta-potty” are probably my favorite. I’m so sorry about your dad. Unfortunately it frequently takes something like that to wake us up to what we are letting slip through our fingers! He would want you to keep going forward though. To enjoy what you both created. I think you were more “present” then you realize! Tossing ideas back and forth. Agreeing, disagreeing, shopping in Home Depot. They are all little fragments of memories. Times spent together that no one can take away from you! When you were sitting in the drivers seat all I could think of was ‘she needs a little Chihuahua or something.’ I could actually picture the little yapper!! Lucy in the Sky…Lucy on the Ground! Vaya con Dios!! Safe travels!!

I never seem one of them Coleman Oven add on… Might have to look into that….As I don’t cook indoors anymore. I ended up with grease on the walls etc… even with a roof vent…

The Colman oven is cool. We have made lots of things with it. Keep a brick in it to keep your temperature even.

If Shaggy from "Scooby-Doo" had his own van….this would be it! I would get a small 12v fridge between the seats rather than a cooler. Also, a bucket for the Grey water is not the best choice…the water can smell and attract flies…a collapsible jug with the hose running to it is a less objectionable solution…especially if you want to stay at an RV park sometime.

Hey. Lucy is amazing looking. I have a 98 roadtrek 170. It’s my baby. Mine on the outside looks like a green version of Lucy but it’s on a dodge 2500 instead. My dad owned it before he passed. And I getting use to driving the roadtrek campervan. But it is something else especially when you have to leave it alone for a few seconds. Lol.

Sorry for the loss of your Dad, I was a daddy’s girl and I was lucky to have him so long. Your dad’s build on this van shows great love and pride for his Daughter. Reusing materials was a great money saver and his talent for carpentry shows.
