We are Those Happy Days and have been living in a van doing full time travel for the last 19 months now. We drive a luton conversion, which was made into something we can live off grid in. We have solar, lithium batteries, diesel powered boiler, the lot.

Another great video, great to see two people living life to the full. If i didn’t have a boat anchor house and mortgage i would love to take the plunge. As for seeing who is knocking on the door at night or when you are inside i would fit a spy camera so you can see who it is, on both sides of the van.
hiya,i used to work for tcp,town and city parking on supermarket carparks,best thing to do is park and camp around the edge of the car park,less chance of a door knock.hope this helps x

Mrs Grumble here. Your van looks great and you may get away with it as a delivery van. A large white motorhome is possibly going to be more obvious and unwelcome. I recently noticed a sign asking vans to park on the side road, 6 spaces which are always full. Btw, careful relying on internet connections for leccy and phones for money….๐ฌ.

Hey you guys, I know that spot! I had my narrowboat moored up on that stretch this year and walked past the Tesco car park every day! I know about the boy racers- they are really loud all the way from Southam, a couple of miles after Leamington and all the way through to Warwick. Sooooo noisy!!!! Was glad to move back into the countryside for some peace and quiet!!!
Careful I got done for staying over three hours at army local Tesco Lee mill plymouth because of multiple shopping missions, using the fuel station and multiple family phone calls as my grandfather had passed on that day, the restrictions signs are very small and high up ie not obvious at all
I was living fulltime vanlife for 7 years and stopping over alot in tescos 11 years ago.
Theyll ask you to move soon. Police do rounds aswell, knock knock.. Radio checking.

A couple of years ago we overnighted in Tesco Stratford on Avon in our non stealth 7.5m van. We did it by the book, checked it was OK at customer services desk and they booked us in as a Tesco visitor. Bought meal ingredients in store (huge wine list available!) and used the loos. Next day we asked if we could stay the night again and they extended our visitor status.
I found a new favorite internet couple.

Love your van, one little thing I have found when I’ve been on stealth mode is that you get free WiFi from McDonald’s and it works as long as your beside the building ish.
