Stylish MUDROOM Tour – Custom Built-in Lockers and Simple Design Ideas

Hey you guys! Today I am going to take you on a tour of one of my favorite spaces in our home…the mudroom! Yeah I know, it might not be the most exciting place in the house, but hear me out. The reason I like this space so much is because of what it represents. Most people take a lot of care when designing the entryway of their home because of how it feels when a guest comes over…welcoming, warm, inviting…but most home owners enter through the garage door to a drab or basic space that doesn’t have the same feeling. I tried to design our mudroom with the idea in mind that this is a symbolic area for letting your troubles leave your shoulders before you enter the main part of the home. I tried to keep it simple and inviting, but also with built in storage for utility. I absolutely love this space!

As always I have included affiliate links to the products we used in building this space. Please let me know if you have any questions about anything! See you on the next video!

Another beautiful and practical space! Nice vision too! I like that it is a "breezeway" that also serves as a mud room. It sets apart 🙂 Congratulations!

Really looking forward to your window treatment video! The breezeway is so beautiful, the closed cabinets really help it from looking cluttered 👍🏼

So so good 😍 we are in the market for blinds and are looking at the roller shades from select blinds as well. Do you find that with the roll going toward the front it’s not necessary to get the valence? Thanks so much! X

Beautiful! What paint color you used for the cabinets?

  23. Saida Swift on November 21, 2022 at 10:45 am

I think it’s called unlacquered brass for the finish on your doorknobs. I believe that Shea McGee also used this finish in her new home. You did a wonderful job here…this is a beautiful breezeway.
