My mirror isn’t flat surface around the frame of the mirror so will this still work all I need is the tile? How much is the tile and the mirror is more than $7 dollars here in Calif. cheaper other states I’m sure like Arizona.

$7??? At least $30 with the cost of the other supplies & you end up with a cheap mirror that distorts what you look like. Don’t bother. This guy doesn’t care, as long as you watch his video.

  6. Dinez Demby on February 16, 2023 at 8:07 am

It’s not the same mirror you showed in Walmart they don’t have a flat surface like the one you put the tiles on.

  7. Amanda on February 16, 2023 at 8:11 am

Actually I would cut the sheet of tile in rows to get the perfect space.

  8. Kiva on February 16, 2023 at 8:12 am

Great Idea of how to share your years of experience with Tile.

  13. Spider Pickle on February 16, 2023 at 8:22 am

I have one of those mirrors from walmart and i would have some concern adding that much weight to it since its so flimsy, but I do like the idea.

  14. Maryj on February 16, 2023 at 8:24 am

I think this is really very excellent except that the back paper always falls off and takes the frame with it…I stopped buying these mirrors.

  15. drpt345 on February 16, 2023 at 8:24 am

    Nice and easy

  16. BioluvsKatz&Bees on February 16, 2023 at 8:25 am

    Nice job. Looks good.

Btw… the word is “across”… not “acrossT” as you keep pronouncing it. Sounds like a toddler saying it…

  17. Lisa Davis on February 16, 2023 at 8:25 am

Looks goods. I think it would look great hanging sideways above the couch too. Of course secured tightly.

  18. Virginia Kilduff on February 16, 2023 at 8:26 am

What does it weigh? Can I hang it or just rest it against the wall?

  19. grammiesawsoneadvetures on February 16, 2023 at 8:28 am

The word is ACROSS, not ACROSST/ACROSSED please learn how to speak before doing ‘How to’ videos for the world to see

  22. Lula Max on February 16, 2023 at 8:30 am

Is there a way I can put it on a wall?

  23. voynich on February 16, 2023 at 8:31 am

    "ACROSSED" is not a word….

  24. He Junru on February 16, 2023 at 8:33 am

  25. Jake the dog on February 16, 2023 at 8:33 am

Dude the word across does not end in a T.

  26. Just Joan on February 16, 2023 at 8:34 am

The mirror Is junk and not made to hold the weight of tiles &grout.. it will warp and bend in 1 year flat..SMH

  27. classic country lover on February 16, 2023 at 8:35 am

    Across…not acrost

  28. badad0166 on February 16, 2023 at 8:36 am

I’ve given up correcting people for using "Heighth" instead of Height, but, this is my first time hearing "Acrost" being used for Across. Language is liquid, I guess. Or, should I say "I guethe".

  29. Celeste Johnson on February 16, 2023 at 8:36 am

Many mosaics come with bullnose edge that would be a nice finished edge all around. Bagging in the grout is an easier option. Pipe it in, similar to decorating cakes. Way less mess.

  30. Rhonna Moore on February 16, 2023 at 8:37 am

Im a mosaic artest and this is un artistic and LAME!

  31. robert desmarais on February 16, 2023 at 8:37 am

Beautiful it’s amazing what a small creative touch does

  32. Gabrielle C on February 16, 2023 at 8:39 am

I want to echo another comment I saw. This is a cute idea but there’s some safety information that needs to be included in this video. Heavy tiles on a flimsy mirror is a recipe for disaster if it gets knocked over and a kid/pet gets hurt by the broken glass. The backing really should be reinforced and then the whole thing anchored to a wall.

Yikes…….this reminds me of when I tried gluing Lace around a 3′ x 3′ mirror (that I got for free) back in 1990. I was going to glue Sea Shells around it, But my friend convinced me into using Lace instead….. anyway, I laid the mirror on a carpeted floor. As I stretched to put some Lace on the top with my right hand, my right knee was on the bottom right corner. All of a sudden I started to hear a Cracking sound!!!! I pulled back my right hand, the right bottom corner cought my hand and cut me from the wrist up about 2 " !!!! I had to have 12 stitches.

    Beautiful

  38. Sane Mataitusi on February 16, 2023 at 8:45 am

Yep that entire spacing configuration is just too much work. I’d rather just NOT TAKE TILES APART.
Instead, I’d just cut tiles longways with the back netting still attached to them to keep all the tiles spaced evenly since I’m going to add grout to it anyways they won’t see the netting backings.
For a kid’s room or hallways, I’d make sure that the tiles have various or primary colors or Alphabet letters on them to make them kid-friendly.
I can also write mathematical equations on them. Or if I’m doing a thematic approach such as airplanes, cars or farm animals for a boy’s or girl’s room then I can ensure that each tile or even every other tile has an airplane of some kind on it or a Barbie character on the tile.
The ideas are limitless when it comes to decorating the tiles for the mirror. I can clearly see how your mind is going explore the many possibilities. Yay!!

Very nice. There are a bunch of low cost wats to enhance what we already have, this was 1 way. I use glue gun or self adhesives too

  48. Jarrod Barkley on February 16, 2023 at 8:53 am

    Acrosst?

  49. Wendy Butler on February 16, 2023 at 8:54 am

That tile is waaaaay too heavy for that mirror. I have owned several of that exact mirror and it’s a VERY lightweight frame and mirror. I’ve hung all mine with the smallest command hangers they’re so light. Maybe cork tiles would be lightweight enough.

  50. Jalapenopapper on February 16, 2023 at 8:55 am

    Peel & Stick tile 😉
