You missed out on a "little Klansmen" joke with Jamie’s costume
the babysitter’s actress is the VA for Carl Foutley from "As Told By Ginger"
can you wash my bag? i mean back….not the bag down under, the potato bag….the back…can you?
How come no one in town knew about the death pit before this? Did no one care enough to fill it? Also, is the demon in the teddy bear related with the monsters in the pit or is this town plagued by two unrelated paranormal phenomena? Were the two pits connected? Did the girl have a demon teddy too? Would watching the movie answer any of these questions?!
So did the Teddy climb out of a dumpster, or was he pulled out of a dumpster? Or did he come out of the Pit?🗑️🧸🕳️
🤔
Ok seriously, who’s the girl on the Hustler cover?
The Neil reference is what did it for me
Hah that breen voiceover
Love the ending!
🤘🍻🤘
Its funny how it’s a comedy without meaning to be
The Teacher was in Videodrome.
I got out of this movie this kid turned in to be Michael Myers and that’s how all of the Halloween movies came to be

Growing up in Northern Ontario we had 2 ppv channels to choose from, first choice and superchannel.
We had superchannel and they played this movie all the time.
Must have watched it 20 times lol.
Great review!
should make a 2
I always find time for hate
I think this movie should be remade but I think they should go to the original idea of Jamie being younger, and it being psychological.
At 6:06 is that woman the same actress who played the girlfriend on about 4 episodes of Rising Damp? Looks just like her, and I believe she was Canadian, as I read some ppl complain of her inaccurate British accent.
I found this gem years ago! It needs more fans. Nice and creepy kid packed.
1981? i saw this in the theatre in 1985. OOPS, no… that was “The Gate” in 1987
You remind me of Jimmy Pop from The Bloodhound Gang.
"isn’t that corrupt..!!"
Haha..that Neil Breen strong speech…haha
😅😅😅…..😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
12:27 – 12:34
😂😂😂😂😂
okay, the jokes about chalkboards are pretty damned good. Thanks mark!
It’s worse than you think, a capon is a type of chicken.
Interesting! "Higher psychopathy scores were associated with earlier age of onset of illness and more arrests for both violent and nonviolent offenses. Conclusions: The comorbidity of schizophrenia and psychopathy was found to be higher among violent patients than among nonviolent patients." Youtube deletes links, so I posted it separately below.
That kid was NEVER disciplined by the mom…I didn’t feel bad at the end.
What’s up with Jamie‘s crying? No wonder he was bullied so mercilessly.
Gads, that kid is ugly and creepy! I can see why everyone hates him on sight…
Ian A. Stuart’s initial script for this film (under its original title, _Teddy_ ) was much darker and more serious in tone, and both Teddy and the ‘Troglodies’ (not ‘Tra-la-logs’, as in the final product) were meant to be figments of Jamie’s disturbed mind which he used as psychological coping mechanisms of a sort, rather than actual corporeal entities with independent physical agency. Also, Jamie himself was originally supposed to be much younger, about 8 or 9 years old. As Stuart points out, changing this in the filmed version so that he was several years older only serves to make his actions appear uncomfortably creepy (not to mention making it incredibly unlikely that he would sleep with a Teddy bear and need to be ‘washed’ in the first place), whereas if he were a younger child, there would be a haunting aspect of cuteness and innocence underlying his strange behaviour. Producer John Bassett gave a copy of Stuart’s initial script to a child psychiatrist, who remarked that it was the best depiction he’d ever read of the mind of a psychotic child. When American director Lew Lehman was hired sight unseen, however, his attitude, according to Stuart, was, ‘I’m here now, I’m in charge, I make the decisions; whatever has been done before this is the past and I’m taking charge of the project.’ Hence, the film we ended up getting is essentially Lehman’s vision, with only the bare bones of Stuart’s concept showing through. Interestingly, a novelisation of the film was written by John Gault, under Stuart’s original title, _Teddy._ The novel hews much more closely to Stuart’s original vision than it does to the film, playing out as a dark, serious psychological horror story. Unfortunately, the novel has long been out of print, and has become something of a ‘grail’ item for cult horror collectors, with copies being extremely hard to find at all, and fetching exorbitant prices when they do turn up.
I gotta ask, what’s with welcome TWO the show about? Is this a bit? And if so is there merch
Who would have thunk Mark was a groomer
"Isn’t that corrupt?’" in Neil Breen’s voice was hysterical!
As soon as you said Canadian Production, the films’ fate was sealed.
Feed me Seymour
lmao ‘that bear has seen some shit’
Jamie shouldve got his good mate Huckleberry Finn to help him out..
Among people as polite as Canadians the phrase "funny person" is probably a stinging insult.
I’ll have you know that funny people come from all walks of life and we will NOT be deterred by your slurs. LMAO 🤣 Mark this is one of your funniest monologues yet. I’m dead bro!
Why is this movie considered an exploitation movie vs a horror movie?
That kid does good creep.
I remember this movie.
I saw this camping.
Saw it on 13inch b/w tv, about 83-84.
🙂
Don’t worry if some of it gets in my hair that’s fine😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀
Jamie: can I wash your front?
12:31 😂
Sweaty salesman… 😀 😀
Nice work…
So…. Does that mean his step cousin or something has an evil barbie?
