Hey there friends,
We’re Sally and Ed! Over the past two years we have been lucky enough to travel to over 25 countries, sharing our adventures on YouTube along the way. This year we took on our BIGGEST ever project – self converting an empty cargo van into a tiny home on wheels… with literally zero skills or prior tool experience!
To say that its been an interesting year for us is a slight understatement!! However, It’s always been a dream of ours to road trip around the big lap of Aus in a camper van π. So about six months ago we took the plunge and bought ourselves a 2015 Mercedes Sprinter. Somehow we have managed to fumble our way through this conversion (with a little help from our family and friends) and the van build is starting to come together.
With 2020 quickly coming to an end we are ready to be on the road again!
On January 1st 2021 we are leaving to travel the big lap whether the van is ready or not. Our plan is to spend one year travelling all over Australia. This means that we have less than 30 days to get our van finished (or at least ready enough to go)! Are we crazy….? I mean honestly at this point – maybe we are!
Awesome ππ
Love the fake happiness
Do u stay on the side of the road at all plz ‘just wondering bc i cant afford caravan parks n so on n dont want to be in the bush ether in Nsw thank you.
So they really did say Woota for water…
You sound like youβre from melbourneeee
Bananas kept in the fridge make other fruit and veg go off quicker. You keep them seperate from other foods.
De-forested artificial low lying grasslands is a great view?
The Australian landscape and natural habitats were quite different, even 100 years ago.
Comparing it to the city I suppose farmland views is a bonus.
As an Aussie, I’d rather watch paint dry than van life in Australia…. God it’s all the same. Wish I could get back to Canada and van life there, but we’re literally prisoners in our own country
Subscribed your channel. Great content. Keep it up. πππ

Kangaroos are the chillest animals
Those almond ice creams are amazzzzzing! Also chilled Bananas is surprisingly good! In the states they sell frozen ones on the west coast and dip them in chocolate and other stuff!

1:59 is where I wanted to kill myself.
Cool!!!! It feels like the nicest place to be at right now!
Bananas in the fridge makes the skin go weird and black so much faster too so they look rotten before they actually are
Being traveling the Oz myself soon ! So much to see and do , can’t wait , will be towing a van behind a sprinter .
Cool travels.
I think you are telling a furphy(lie) about the roos jum[ping 6 metres in the air .. typical americans
Its all good your not wood ducks happy campers
THAT CURVE KILLS ME ππππ
Bananas can go in the fridge. The skins may go brown, but the fruit doesnβt ripen and stays edible, longer.

Great vid, a bit late coming to watch but looks great, from Melb in Lockdown, been planning to maybe try the Vanlife π
You can only live like this while you are young and beautiful when people are nice to you or want to root you. Can’t do this if you are an ugly old hag, everyone will tell you to get lost and call the cops on you if you park your van in a resident street.
Hi πββοΈ just subscribed love this and thanks π that wikicamp tip was really useful as Iβve been thinking of doing that for a long time . Love itβs Australian too . Be safe guys and look forward to seeing more of tour journeys π
