The Top 5 Interior Design Trends of 2021

In this video, we are discussing my selections for the Top 5 and BEST Interior Design Trends of 2021. I go through some of my favorite styles trends that I am looking to embrace in this upcoming year and show some examples of how to use them effectively. I am really excited about the direction that 2021 is going in, which includes plenty of warm, inviting color palettes, an emphasis on sustainable design, and some new blended styles like Grand Millenial. This year is all about function and form, and there is truly something for everyone!

I saw the downside of open plan years ago when I was renovating. I have a soundproofed office and bedroom. My husband and I both love music and we like to be able to have our own spaces.

I loved this, especially your gorgeous examples. There was a green velvety sectional (middle image) that stopped my heart. Thank you!

Great video, Kelly. Thanks for posting. Previously I lived in an open plan home which was right for the time & had the appropriate scale (not too big/small). I get your point about closed floor plans especially now more people are working from home. Perhaps you could do a home office/study makeover either a separate room or incorporated into the living room for your next project. I loved your choice of designers particularly Anna Hewitson & Emily Henderson whose styles I adore. Also, I would check out Ham Interiors for that modern yet timeless vibe.
