I dont know why but im always seduced by corners
I feel most comfortable in corners so i would put the desks in the corner in a 90°angel so you can combine your gaming and working setup with minimal effort
The couch would be at the wall to the bedroom between the desks and the doors
The entry console would stand free on the right of the door to create a entry floor while the tv would standat the opposite wall to the couch
with your suggested floorplan, wouldnt the couch and tv be misaligned? therefore people watching said tv have to look to the side and being uncomfortable? id suggest moving the couch just a bit further into the room and putting some small furniture between the wall and the tv, you could place a lamp on it or something else?
If you feel the need to have different desks for working and gaming (you should), you really don’t want to put them next to each other.
I would turn the working desk (bottom one) toward the window and move the other desk, and the couch, up until they align with the bedroom door. I may also put the entrance table behind the main door if the entrance feel cramped.
I may be wrong, but at least you wouldn’t see your entertainment space while you work, and I think it would feel even more open.
This is the only one I’ve seen that I completely disagree with. I would never have the TV and sofa positioned so that people come in and immediately cut in front of the TV (surely that’s a bad feng shui?) you can also see the entrance right there when you’re sitting on the sofa and you have to angle your head to watch the TV. Very very bad.
I also wouldn’t have the 2 desks right next to each other. It completely negates the purpose of having 2 separate desks for separate purposes. And definitely not right behind the sofa facing the same way. Doing that means that it doesn’t feel like a separate space from when you’re trying to relax vs working, further negating the benefits of the desks
I really don’t think any of your videos make sense. The door swings into the room, so if you put the shelving unit in front of the door, you will block anyone walking into the room. Also, the TV is off-center and there is no room for speakers.
Put the TV in front of the window, couch in the open, and desks on the right wall. Another option is to put the desks flanking the TV in front of the window. Then you have enough room to enter the room, because the storage unit isn’t right in the doorway.
I don’t agree with the first thing you see when you walk in a piece of furniture in your way giving you about 2′ to enter plus the entry door would need to open the open from the left side in order for this to work.
Desks are best put against walls to avoid running cables across the floor, tripping hazards. My pc has: 2 monitor power cables, pc power cable, Ethernet cable, and a bunch that stay behind the desk. Also, i thought the point of having 2 desks was to separate the feeling of work vs play?
how do I get help from this man’s pls 😭 tryna find a better way to organize my room bc w my bed in the command position it’s hard to place anything else in my room due to the placement of the windows bathroom and closet in my room
I see a problem with light here.. In the proposed position, the light is behind the person which would make the subject dark on a camera during meetings.
I actually got most of these right, except possibly thinking an island would work better than a table in the kitchen, i think im getting better at this from watching the videos lol
Omg I got it right I am so good

Don’t need the couch of he spends all day working or playing😅 no social life for friends to go sit at the couch
This is literally what my okd house used to look like 😂
I’d switch the tv and that unit around to make the tv centre

For once I actually prefer the first layout
I completely agree I thought the exact same when I passed the video I just think the couch and the desks should move out
@DearModern question? Why do we keep the dinning table close to the door to the back wouldn’t that mess with the atmosphere?

Seriously how do I hire you for consulting😂
Now I know! ..but why does the door open not against the wall 🤦🤦
With that console up against the wall, I could not get my ass in the door.
I wouldn’t want to sit on a sofa with computers at the back of my head
I would swap the TV and the entry console otherwise perfect

Whenever I hear this guy, it always kinda startle me at first because my brain thinks he’s actually here behind me.
I made the exact same choices as you for the exact same reasons! I love feng shui! And you! xo

I did it right !!
Spends his whole day working or gaming, wont have to worry about guests
I would hate to squeeze into that desk area
Youldnt be able to look at the gaming desk while working on the work desk. He is getting distracted, thats why he has 2 desks
Personal preference: I don’t like how cramped it is at the dining table.
Question: Is there a way to keep all this stuff and make the dining table less camped?

im not huge on how close the door would swing to the tv thingy

I won get things done if my desk isn’t facing a wall to keep me from distractions.
That desk in front of the tv will be my doom to procrastination 😅
I had the same idea as you!! In my head i even said "he uses those desks all the time, needs light and the command position"
The tv is not aligned to the seat.. Why not tilt the entry console or get a smaller one.. Previous design also not that bad
That solution is horrible. Very crowded at entry. It would feel very cramped to me.
Yay me
guessed it right
I see a problem with light here.. In the proposed position, the light is behind the person which would make the subject dark on a camera during meetings.
How do i submit my room
You really do want the "work" and "gaming" spaces to be separated.
are those grays squares with lines columns?
But now the tv is a little off center from the couch. But its still a good use of space.
Nah, the pc table would be super uncomfy to use after that
you could use these as references to even set up minecraft houses if youre creative enough
I’m so proud of myself 😝 I thought of the same design he did!
I SOLVED IT FIRST TRY (I shouldn’t be so excited abt that)
Electronics don’t go near windows. Direct light can damage them
I think there should be some sort of divider between the two desks to separate the gaming/work energy.
Did you just block the front door?
I actually got most of these right, except possibly thinking an island would work better than a table in the kitchen, i think im getting better at this from watching the videos lol
However there is always a disturbance when watching, like in pirate movies 😂 people’s shadows are blocking the scenes.
You missed putting the small dining table in the bathroom, quick access to the toilet, crawling over the table is with the energy flow…..now you know!
wow i have the same things in my living room. i’m going to try this!
i need the same, but for studio same size as that room, without tv and a 1.5bed instead of sofa.
