VAN BUILD from start to finish | 1.5 year SELF BUILD (under £10k)!
Hey everyone!!
If you’re new, my name’s Amelise, I’m 21 and live full time in my van (my parents do aswell!). I have a little dog called Gigi who travels around with me❤️
This week I thought I’d show you how I built my van from start to finish.
This took about 1.5 years during the lockdowns and was a good distraction for me! I had many days where I wanted to give up on the build, because it was so mentally challenging at some points, especially in winter. However, now I have my tiny home and I know how to fix everything if anything goes wrong in it!

If you are still trying to black those bumpers….. try gently using a heat gun on them, it brought my 22 year old bumpers up like the day they came out of the factory 😎👍

Dang Ame! You do good work big time! I worked 25 years in most construction trades including Air Conditioning and I have to say I am very impressed with the work Ame put into her home on wheels and the only thing I think she doesn’t have might be I don’t think the van is 4×4 and that is really for off roading and inclement type weather?

Well good morning from London, where the weather is currently mimicking that of mercury, it is so amazingly hot, and yes I am awake at an unnatural hour because a bloody crow has just sat on my windowsill and scared the piss straight out of me, I couldn’t get back to sleep so I watched this past video you posted, and without sounding like I’m blowing sunshine up your bottom , you really are one of the most incredibly capable individuals I have ever encountered,
Seriously, you would’ve been my best friend and we would’ve probably converted an aircraft by now.
I will no doubt pop up commenting on other videos as I absolutely love watching them and of course, the great GiGi who always makes me giggle, I seriously can’t help grinning every time I think of her, she is totally adorable.
