VAN LIFE COUPLE – CAMPING Road Trip Through Southern Minn. Extreme HOT Temps Cuts Our Trip Short!

Sometimes you just need to know when to quit. We load up our Transit and head for a weekend camping trip in Southern Minnesota. We visit the quaint towns of Sleepy Eye and St. Peter, but extreme hot temperatures and the wrong shore power plug cut our adventure short.

We’re JK and Kim. We love traveling in our 2019 Ford Transit #campervan. We are based in southern #minnesota

We have been camping since we first dated in the 2000’s, starting off in a tent with basic gear stuffed into the back of a vintage K-5 Blazer!
We have owned three different campers so far – A 19-foot Salem towable travel trailer, a 27-foot Four Winds Class C camper, a mini–Class A Thor Vegas 24.1 named Elvis, and now our 2019 Ford Transit high roof #van.
