I get this question a lot. What about getting mail or i need a permanent address for some things in my life. Well….. I have a solution. Its kind of a no brainer. If you don’t need a service like this and you have a friend or family address you can use then PERFECT.

Don’t know about Canada, but many US Post offices are now allowing you to use yout post offices street address as your own and then just specify your PO box as a unit number. Can get packages there and everything at no extra cost.
DMV, and other places, have a list of addresses like these on their list as not valid home residence.
I used to do p.o. boxes (cheaper) this way: I found out the actual street number the post office is on and just put the p.o. box number as the apartment number. So 136/16 Some St., etc… And the mail came no problem. I don’t know if this is still possible or the post office rejects the mail. I think it might still work.
Would this work when applying for a BC driver’s licence and job applications? If so I’m saved!!! Thanks chrome!

That’s one of the things I was worried about. I need a mail address for work and so no personal info gets sent to my previous address. $16/mo is not bad at all for a permanent address.

Ours is at ups store and is shown as real address and sends email if have pkg…like P.O. box but real address
I use a company called Pak Mail …. excellent place !

Hi Chrome, Great videos. Hey, I just tried to change my BC drivers license to my UPS mailbox and ICBC wouldn’t let it go through because it’s a commercial address. Have you renewed your license or changed your Canada Revenue Agency accounts to reflect your mailbox? Thanks. Scott.

that answered my question all that other shit like pooping is just common sense. I was thinking of maybe using a friends address. don’t need an address for anything other then the government issued crap.
What about registering your car? Car registrations require two different forms of proof of residence. What do you use? You change your bank account to the Mailroom address you’re given and what else? Does Mailroom provide you with a proof of address form you can use for car registration?

Speaking of check’s, some banks are now using electronic check deposit. Bank of America (which is my bank) allows me to actually scan the front/back of the check into my account, and within 3-5 days the check is now added to my banking account….

I have a P.O. box, postmaster says "use Post Office Street address as a street Address" and they will see your name on the mail and just put it in Your Box 😁
You don’t use that address for your vehicle ownership and IRS, do you?
I must be on the right track. Every time I have a question, the next video of yours that I watch turns out being the answer. I just found one of these mail box places right in the middle of my routine shopping area that I never noticed! Blam!
