Live life intending your desires into reality. Living life for a living means enjoying the pros and cons of work and play. The contrast is the real juice of life.

If you can get to a doc, and have the right doc, a steroid shot right in the heel did the trick for me. I had it in both my feet, and had the shot done one at a time. At the time I was working nursing homes, and the pain was aweful, so I feel ya on that. Hope it gets better. Search on the bedtime boots you can get and will help stretch the foot to stop hurting as well.

Get great supportive shoes with inserts. Steroid injections. Roll your foot across a frozen bottle of water. It worked for awhile for me but I ended up eventually having surgery which helped but you’d probably be held up a couple months and may need to stay off the road. Ewww it’s kinda creepy guys are asking you out in comments section, very inappropriate. They are predators.

So, the vandal saw you as the problem with capitalism…? I am looking into van life, as a way to escape it.

  11. Lee Jackman on May 15, 2022 at 9:12 pm

For your plantar faciitis, keep a water bottle in your freezer & use it to roll under your foot when it flairs up. Also using a baseball to also roll around and really get into to painful spots can help. Yes, it will hurt at first, but the more you roll them around them more it will loosen it up. Just some thoughts. Good luck, been there.

Lots of van life woes are the same as house/apt woes. I suppose it’s the space that makes it harder. Looks like you’ve done well. But when the temps are extreme it can be much harder. No dogs for me. They can be helpful but I’m done taking care of others. Besides don’t like the wet likes, bad breath, neediness etc…they need what I cannot provide. You have done well.

  18. Wayne H on May 15, 2022 at 9:21 pm

You have to get good med care of your foot. My good friend ignored hers and it turned into Achilles tendinopathy. She had prolotherapy (needles of something or other) all around her ankle and now she is fine. But it took a while. Good luck.

  30. Living Inthenow on May 15, 2022 at 9:39 pm

Had to turn the sound down and turn and rely on the closed captioning. I don’t understand why so many YouTubers insist on playing music during the parts where they are talking. It makes it so difficult for those who are neurodiverse and/or hearing impaired, and it doesn’t seem to ADD anything to the experience. Music in between the talking parts is one thing, but what purpose does it serve (other than making it difficult for some folx to understand what you’re saying) to have music going when you’re talking?

  33. Metoo Nunyabidness on May 15, 2022 at 9:41 pm

Your capitulation to the vandals and showing solidarity with the motives of them shows a true weakness of your character.
Never apologize for those who would make a victim of you.

I live in Alberta and unfortunatly it gets like -40 some nights in winter so heating is super important

  35. Bob Hancy on May 15, 2022 at 9:44 pm

Me again. This video is the reason why it’s important to watch as many different nomadic videos as you can. I never heard of the Fixd or the satellite phone thing – and I’ve been on the road for years. I so appreciate your information, ingenuity and creativity Anna. Here I’ve been renovating my office area for a week – and you set yours outside. Genius…simple and practical (when it’s not raining). Remember this quote? "The woods are the only place I can see a clear path.." So true…

  36. livableincome on May 15, 2022 at 9:44 pm

  40. Mixed Martial Adventures on May 15, 2022 at 9:45 pm

I suffer with plantar fasciitis, I was convinced I would be in pain everytime I walked for the rest of my life but I did loads of research and found a few solutions that actually really worked for me. I incorporated a calf stretching routine into my morning and evening yoga routines. Tight calves can cause the soul of the foot to have less flexibility and in turn can result in chronic pain. Also those hard massage balls are great for really stretching out the soul of your foot. It’s extremely painful at first, make sure you don’t apply to much pressure but you’ll get the hang of it and actually start to love it. And lastly and maybe the most impactful thing I did was start wearing barefoot shoes! They are the best! Thee best! Seriously. Not just for the feet but for the entire alignment of the body. I haven’t had any plantar fasciitis pains for almost 2 years now and I do trail running and martial arts everyday again. Best thing I ever did was start wearing barefoot shoes.

  41. Margo Burns on May 15, 2022 at 9:46 pm

Great video…wondering what the van cost all in. I am shopping for a promaster right now and wondering what the build will cost me having the build done by a pro when I cant do it myself. Any ideas?

  42. Kim Knight on May 15, 2022 at 9:46 pm

Hi! Just wanted to say that I had a lot of feet problems until i decided to wear shoes that were zero drop and made for a natural foot shape, in addition to wearing Correct Toes. Sounds silly but for real it helped me so much with foot pain and balance issues. Highly recommend and probably totally in line with what you’re about ✨🌞✨
