And yes, in my experience, instapot, ninja foodie, hell even a Forman Grill is gonna be a way better cooking experience than any kinda gas powered camp stove

    John cena??

Can the Nissan NV200 come with windows all around?

  4. Kaun Troap on June 27, 2022 at 12:05 am

hello how did your honda element vs the nissan nv compare to space? which one had more

  5. Klebber Bezerra on June 27, 2022 at 12:09 am

How tall are you? Can you sleep comfortably in it?

  6. Joshua McGoldrick on June 27, 2022 at 12:10 am

I have a Chevy Astro, kinda for all the same reasons. I was able to get one very cheap with under 90k miles. Even though I only get 20-24 mpg, that’s still pretty good for a camper van.

  7. my tube on June 27, 2022 at 12:10 am

    Way to go!

  8. Albee Name Last on June 27, 2022 at 12:11 am

I like your bed set up!

  9. Doug Ronald on June 27, 2022 at 12:12 am

You made a great point. For urban vanlife dwellers, there are advantages to having a small van. It’s easier to maneuver and park. You don’t always go to wide open spaces. I think I’ll get a small van when I do.

  10. Sapioit on June 27, 2022 at 12:12 am

Apparently, Toyotas are much better in quality, from what I’ve heard. No wonder many people live in a Prius. I mean each with their own Prius, not all in the same Prius.

  11. jana banana on June 27, 2022 at 12:12 am

I thought that looked familiar! West cliff!

  12. Paulo Ojeda on June 27, 2022 at 12:15 am

I like the bed style because i would like purchase a van for my job and to rest , some time i dont find a hotel or similar , the design allow transport things for my duty

  13. Angela Dawn on June 27, 2022 at 12:17 am

Nissans are great (here in New Zealand) – I wouldn’t touch a Honda, and certainly not a European vehicle. I’d do Toyota or Nissan, the parts are easy to get hold of, and they’re really popular where I live 🙂

  14. J G on June 27, 2022 at 12:17 am

Good English the one you speak. Thanks for the video.

Looove the murphy bed, really clever!!! Thank you!

  16. CatAcres on June 27, 2022 at 12:18 am

I agree with the small van, but wouldn’t want to take away my utility rack on the roof. Having a commercial roof rack is like having a truck.

  17. Linda Lucia on June 27, 2022 at 12:19 am

Great van! How much solar power do you need to run the instant pot?

  18. SMOKE A FATTY on June 27, 2022 at 12:19 am

Standing at the beach he says that video was from when I was in Reno Nevada. I’m not there anymore. 😂 That is the ocean 😂
You have to love these young people

  19. Miriam Anderson on June 27, 2022 at 12:20 am

Gas is much better than my silverado pick up truck. Wow!

  20. Mt.BikeHer on June 27, 2022 at 12:23 am

Great drone shots and editing. You’re so cute and humble, thanks for the insight on the pros. I’m leaning towards a smaller van when I make the leap. Just discovered the pros of pop tops so thanks again.

  21. Matter Do Too on June 27, 2022 at 12:23 am

Have you a crew of cameraman and editor behind ? Lol

  22. Christopher Stevenson on June 27, 2022 at 12:24 am

Nice review surfer dude! Thanks for insights and thoughts about smaller Van. “Small is Beautiful” concept has always been my Moto! Less is more! Small eco-footprint…etc. And I too wonder about Nissan v.s. Ford for value/performance?
Love the self-build too.!!! Looks like you did a video for it? How long to do? Saved $$? How much? Is bed big enough for 2? Keep on keepin on!!

  23. PeaceChanel on June 27, 2022 at 12:25 am

Peace… Salam… Shalom… Namaste and Thank You so much for All that you are doing to Heal our Mother Earth 🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ 🌷 ❤

Use the saute function to heat up leftovers🙌

  26. plzbhappy2 on June 27, 2022 at 12:30 am

VERY well done video. You did a great job. You’re also a very nice, resourceful guy. You thought through want you wanted to do with the van, and you DID it. And a job well done.

  27. Nick S on June 27, 2022 at 12:31 am

That’s an awfull lot of money for that small pop top

  30. Combat Medic 91-B on June 27, 2022 at 12:36 am

Was surprised to hear Nissan has lost the quality it once had??!! I owned a Nissan truck 1993 it lasted until 2018 I sold it for 1,700. I wanted small van never thought Nissan would dive, but the warranty sounds good & the warranty I had in 93 truck was good. I like your videos thank you good 👍jod! I want a pop top also & something small to drive you did a great job on converting your van for camping!

  31. Boathemian on June 27, 2022 at 12:39 am

I drive sprinters and promasters for work and they are NOT low budget rigs, promasters burn lots of headlamps and tires are a weird size that cost a fortune. Sprinters will kill you in maintenance costs.

  32. Gina Kay Landis on June 27, 2022 at 12:40 am

Great video! Isn’t the NV200 a smidge bigger and more boxy than the newer Transit Connects? Anyway yes the smaller vehicles are cool, though the 2013 high top TC lwb would likely be my choice. Thanks for sharing!

  33. Miriam Anderson on June 27, 2022 at 12:41 am

I’m actually browsing for tiny van living because I always wonder how can anyone navigate with big vehicles in city streets, very intimidating.

  34. Jewel Potter on June 27, 2022 at 12:43 am

I just bought a Nissan van like yours…looking to get some ideas by watching you.

  35. Bryson Bost on June 27, 2022 at 12:44 am

Ah West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz, CA. 😀

  36. Ja Na on June 27, 2022 at 12:45 am

I’m glad that I’m 5’1 ft. short HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
I don’t need large space though

  37. Derek Davis on June 27, 2022 at 12:45 am

I found a dodge diesel van I should of bought, had 338k or something but it was cheap, I seen a 2017 transit small one like yours for 7k, it had 183k miles.

  38. Steve Scramo on June 27, 2022 at 12:46 am

Did you lift this nv200 for better ground clearance for driving off the paved roads?? Are you able to get spare parts now given the fact that the NV200 is being discontinued?

  39. asdfdg11 on June 27, 2022 at 12:46 am

How did you build that bed? That saves alot of space

  40. Diane Ibsen on June 27, 2022 at 12:47 am

Thank you so much for this video! So helpful!! Great information. I love that you’re a minimalist. And I love the idea of low gas mileage, low emissions, easy to repair💗👍🤗

  41. lane mallette on June 27, 2022 at 12:51 am

Will it fit in a regular garage.

  42. Kayla Levesque on June 27, 2022 at 12:52 am

I think he is so adorable!!! His personality shines thru and he seems so kind and humble❤️

  43. ricus serfontein on June 27, 2022 at 12:53 am

Ive narrowed my van choice down to a NV200.

  44. Eric Williams on June 27, 2022 at 12:53 am

I was going to get the transit connect, then decided on the Transit. Upgrading never creates a problem down the line. Accepting less usually does.

  45. taxevader86 on June 27, 2022 at 12:53 am

    Compact is better.

  46. Samsonite on June 27, 2022 at 12:55 am

  47. Need1e on June 27, 2022 at 12:55 am

Toyota needs to get in the cargo van business! I’ll buy one in a heartbeat.
