I wish I had done what you did.

  2. Bryan C on May 5, 2022 at 8:30 pm

    Very envious. Someday, hopefully.

Your videos and demeanor are fantastic. Safe travels and happy trails!

  3. GRATEFUL OVERLANDER on May 5, 2022 at 8:33 pm

Catherine, you are absolutely beautiful. Your personality and happiness shines through! 🤙
Looking forward to maybe meeting you on the road one day.
    Safe travels 🙂

  4. Kennet Velasco on May 5, 2022 at 8:35 pm

Hi Catherine, I just saw your video and even though I’m living as a digital nomad I could resonate so much with the energy and peace that you transmit.

  5. Mikel Lofgren on May 5, 2022 at 8:36 pm

Glad I watched this one. I’m a subscriber now and look ahead to more of your wonderful work. Your content looks looks professional to me. I am set up for full time (’18 Ford T/C with Fiberine 12" fiberglass high-top, solar, 200 Ahrs BB, DC/DC, standup ability, and comfie nighly slumber), but….. am still physically working some servicing telephone systems (migrating from 50% to hopefully 90% remote programming income from my voice and data contractor business), and presently volunteering 10 hours a day as a fiduciary assistant/night watchman for a upholstery shop on the central coast of CA. Enjoying "giving back" but not sure how much longer I’ll continue to help my friend. It sure is nice having a safe place to park at night. I have been very fortunate to have traveled extensively on the road throughout the Western U.S., but not as a full-timer and alass…. the call of the wild is getting stronger. I look forward daily, to living vicariously (on the open road) through utube and now via your adventures as well. Thank You Catherine. Travel/Stay Safe and Well and May God Continue To Bless You

  6. The Journey on May 5, 2022 at 8:37 pm

Very inspirational! We have a lot in common…going on my 3rd year as well! Safe travels beautiful!

Your videos inspire and revive memories of a most significant life Transitioning into retirement, I blew out the cobwebs mountain biking the Continental Divide from Canada to Mexico. My wife supported the trip in our pickup camper, waiting every 10 or so miles for me to catch up for a snack and chat, camping in comparative comfort. It brought us closer and opened our lives to greater adventures.

  10. Joe Bloe on May 5, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Weird. There is a lot to do in SoCal on weekends. Ocean, desert, mountains. No need to quit the job to experience the nature in SoCal.

  11. Joey Bain on May 5, 2022 at 8:42 pm

    Dang! Your smokin’ HOT!!!

  12. David Denham on May 5, 2022 at 8:43 pm

I agree with you the best thing about this lifestyle is freedom to do what you want and when.
It really is the best life.
You can probably do more winter camping by having backups for your water etc. You can always have a couple of 20 litre cans of water onside the truck and put a thermal blanket around them when there is a chance of it freezing.
You can then use a jug to transfer the water to the sink instead of worrying about frozen taps or water pump.

  13. MARC VAN DEN BERGH on May 5, 2022 at 8:43 pm

Amazing story by an amazing woman..👍👍

  14. Darlene Stout on May 5, 2022 at 8:44 pm

I totally agree. I’m quite the nomad to. Do you think you will ever get a newer rig someday ? I hope to get on the road I’m April. Maybe we will get to meet someday

The best thing a person can do for themselves is try to find a way to make a living without going to the 9 to 5 work day. Myself, I make rustic style quality furniture and repair furniture so I work for myself. I have time to travel and I only take on as much work as I need to do. When I was younger I worked on wall street in NYC with the stock exchange and just couldn’t deal with it after 5 years, so I went north to the Adirondack mountains and never went back it was the best move that I made. I am near beautiful Vermont, N.H. Canada, Maine, Conn., I have a class B RV and that takes me all over. Try it you will never regret it. Be safe and be good to each other. I love all Catherine Gregory videos. 😎

  17. Lyle Casteel on May 5, 2022 at 8:47 pm

I have that exact same camper. Cant wait to get out a lot more with it.

  18. Turf n Surf on May 5, 2022 at 8:50 pm

If one can get over the fear and willing to sacrifice some convenient, it can be a wonderful lifestyle. Would not do it full time though.

  19. Archer G on May 5, 2022 at 8:52 pm

Namaste Catherine, never sell yourself short with regards to your creative abilities! Your videos rank with the so called "pros"! Thank you for sharing them and your story. Safe journeys.

  20. Margie's Van Mori on May 5, 2022 at 8:53 pm

This is amazing! I am building out my van to travel and work in film and TV. I am so inspired by story and I love that you shared yours with all of us. Thanks you! Blessings!

  21. Tony Rodgers on May 5, 2022 at 8:54 pm

Your scenic videos is what first drew us to your channel. You do an awesome job. I just ran across your “story” today 10/21/21. Thanks for sharing. Even more good reason to like your channel. My PTO is my problem too. My wife and I work at a regional hospital. We love camping but have only so much time each year. But you can imagine-we make the most out of each camping trip. Yellowstone, Badlands, Grand Teton, Rocky Mt., and heading this Monday to Smoky Mts. National Park. Hope to run into you somewhere on the trail someday. Keep ‘EM coming.

  22. tesla H on May 5, 2022 at 8:55 pm

I loved hearing your story of your journey to arriving at this lifestyle. I can relate to so much of it. And I am SOOO GLAD that you have done so, as I get to view so many beautiful places on your backpacking excursions that, at this point, I most likely won’t get to as I am 70 yrs old. Your photographic skills are very developed, your vids and images so beautiful

  23. Dani Walker on May 5, 2022 at 8:56 pm

I am so curios about this lifestyle and constantly wonder if we should GO FOR IT! Thanks so much for sharing. I am more inspired now than ever.

  24. Chin Ho Yi on May 5, 2022 at 8:57 pm

Thank you for your videos. They are beautifully filmed and edited.

  25. Daniel Quinn on May 5, 2022 at 8:58 pm

All the Best your a natural at this just loosen up a little and you’ll get better and better at everything

  26. Dale Garrard on May 5, 2022 at 8:59 pm

God Bless Your Journey Catharine. I really enjoy your adventures. Stay safe and don’t tempt mother nature’s awesome weather changes. Just always plan on snowbirding during the colder time of year. Staying comfortably warm is part of freedom’s enjoyment.

  27. Peter Martin on May 5, 2022 at 8:59 pm

I just discovered your videos recently and your photography is excellent, especially on a large screen. The mountains are beautiful, but, take care in that Grizzly Bear country !

  28. Kevin Loughin on May 5, 2022 at 8:59 pm

Going on your third year? I just hit my 3 year mark living in a 31 ft. Class C. I like the room, being a tech oriented youtuber, I have a lot of stuff to carry. But I sure do envy you folks with the smaller rigs. You can go so many places I can’t and you can park anywhere a car can. You enjoy an extra layer of mobility and freedom.

  29. Chipper on May 5, 2022 at 9:00 pm

Super, super, super enjoyed this video. Thank you especially for this episode. Trying to catch up on all your videos after Tammy Spirit Forest introduced you. Say this EVERY single time how STUNNING your photo work is. Thanking you for sharing is so little in comparison to what I receive from your videos!👍👍

  30. John Guertin on May 5, 2022 at 9:01 pm

hello maam …as a traveler myself and photographer..I recently ran across your channel….ive been to all the places you’ve been and give you a lot of credit… esp for traveling solo…. wyoming and montana are my favorite states with utah az and alaska close by. you can use an indoor propane heater in the colder spots…..you may have looked into them in sure but if not they have the buddy heaters or the big buddy you can use small tanks of propane ..or a larger 20 lb tank but would have to run a hose and keep that bigger tank outside ..they are pretty safe…. once again keep up the good work and enjoy your vids esp because you have the passion ..it can be heard in your voice.. if you ever get back to the moki dugway area hit Muley point and muley point east if you havent not to far from the dugway … they are tremendous overlook areas

  31. Carol Narramore on May 5, 2022 at 9:02 pm

I thoroughly enjoy your channel. You have been in my neck of the woods and hiked some I’d the areas that I have. It fun to see your view. Your videography is outstanding!

    Thank you and bravo

  33. Greg Cox on May 5, 2022 at 9:11 pm

You have a nack for producing videos that are relaxing and very enjoyable to watch. I feel like I am almost traveling to these places and seeing the sights. The road footage and clips of landscape all seem to blend perfectly.

So happy for you Catherine! 😃🎉. I enjoy your videos, scenery, hikes and adventures! I’m 3 years behind you! I’ve been watching you tube videos, taking notes etc. I’ll be hitting the road once my house sells😊💃🎉🍀. I agree about getting rid of your worldly possessions it is very difficult it’s taking me a long time going through just papers and now I’m trying to get my house ready to put on the market for the painting a little projects I have to get done plus trying to sell things and I’m gonna need another rug because my van is not very reliable. Just looked at some trucks and talk campers this weekend so thanks for the inspiration!

  39. Sarasota Tim on May 5, 2022 at 9:20 pm

Yep we’re the same just different genders but same minds. I’m going to embark on a nomadic life in just a couple of months when my lease ends. I will be traveling in a 2021 Toyota 4Runner with a bed in the back and a Dometic fridge. Everything else will come together and I’m heading straight to the west to the mountains most likely New Mexico.

  45. CharGe on May 5, 2022 at 9:23 pm

59 here, and your story resonates deeply with me. Good job and no desire to spend my best life working for time off. And I have the same concerns that I don’t want to wait anymore.. During Covid, I combined my passion for motorcycle riding with my love of the outdoors and the Sierra’s and travel to many of the same places that you do Death Valley the Owens Valley the Saline Valley. The wanderlust has taken full hold and now I’m making exit plans for a similar life. Thank you for sharing and inspiring!

Thank you for sharing your awesome story. What a great time you have been having. From Henrico County Virginia

  48. Gary Bowen on May 5, 2022 at 9:25 pm

I gave my all for 40 years fighting domestic local war on drugs. Two military services, volunteered county search and rescue, Police Reserves, community church participation, VOLUNTEERING. Contract physical personal protection and investigations.

Good to see so many drop outs Me Me Me abandoning our countries needs. Medical personnel shortages. Law Enforcement, Blue Collar workers of EVERY description, people whom transports our logistics too keep us fed, medicated, supplied. Ships, planes, trains, trucks. All 50 to 70% short of manpower!

Luxury, leisure, more phuk-off time, gaming, floating down the river on an old inner tube. Getting high, drinking booze, being an amazing YouTuber millions are just waiting to fawn over your illustrious creativity to self satisfaction.

10 million workers don’t want to fill job fields people. 18 to 50. I want my cake now, before I get too old and my teeth fall out! I worked, I fought, I endured more than any man should have. I didn’t just lay down and say puk-it I’m done picking up everybody else’s social garbage watching others make millions in illegal means and ways.

Question; Let’s say 10 million people are doing side hustles barely getting by on cash money lets say, what will the next 5 years be like? 20 million unwilling to make our food we eat (Ag severe shortage this second), transport our food we eat, insure the safety of the food we eat? Medical? Look up the numbers people? How many are applying to medical school? Scary stuff! We haven’t even gotten into the important stuff!

We are selfish mindless whiners thinking that if I don’t do now like avoiding real responsibilities in serving our communities, our state, our country well shit! They can do it all without me! I wanna go skiing on the lake this summer! Besides? I gotta cut another video on my patron channel.

Now. Are we a free people? YES! Are we free to choose how we live? YES! Just my opinion folks. But if more younger generation avoid hardship and hustle and hard labor with long hours even if its sucking sewage out of the pipes, our modern county we all assume, take for granted will be a broken down barely operating functioning town/community. We Boomers are leaving in even larger numbers, we MASTERED out career fields! Young people have NOT stepped up to the plate to become deeply ensconced into mastering what we have done for 30 to 45 years keeping oil, natural gas, the power grids going.

Now, this second, $6.00 diesel fuel prices! Freedoms LOST, Liberty torn to pieces during so called pandemic here folks. In case you ain’t noticing we’re in some deep poo-poo!

My 67 years taught me well. Have fun you all.
