Winter Camping in our New Wilderness Shelter – A Snow Storm for our First Overnighter!
A snow storm for our first night in the completed wilderness shelter, can’t ask for a better setting. Fresh snow in the trees was beautiful and Sandra and I packed up to spend the night winter camping out in the woods. The shelter was covered in snow and so was everything around us. We really hope that you enjoy! And a Big Thank You to Maurice for designing a logo for our channel!

Wonderful job guys
One cannot but wonder just what kind of material that tent is made of.
🙏👍
This might be my favorite one!!
This location must be in or around the province of NB, Canada?
That’s an awesome shelter
If you rig some type of bar or crescent shaped PVC and run some rope through it, then you could toss it up on the snow on the tent and just pull the snow down. That would seem less labor intensive and be less likely to harm the fabric. Or just toss some rope across the tent multiple times, having someone on the other side put tension on it to slice the snow, thus breaking the lock it has, then go inside and just push the chunks down. In that environment, you need to conserve energy where you can. Isn’t there a way to put up double layer flue with a spacer toward the top, thus allowing you to put a rubber sheath around the top to keep the water out!
I enjoyed this video very much! The snow is just beautiful! Love the tent, and the lights make it very cozy in there. Good job!
Do not understand why folks want to go out the wilds and live in the cold and the snow if they do not have to!
i needed this vid, thank you. love watching 2 people just having fun.
Nope we don’t get covered bridge storm chips here where I live in Oregon. They sure look good. Looked on Amazon and they don’t have any either. Bummer!
Lutercrist

Lol it’s udon, you should try chopsticks and sip broth from the bowl 😁👍💛
So beautiful
How do you guy’s take a shower
I use a propane torch to lite my fires. Don’t need nothin but dry starter wood. Like your winter shelter. I like having my wife and dog makes it where it’s not lonely lol.
Hello, excuse me, why don`t you got in snow of the top? Iit is more cold I am wright? Thank you 💓
Poor way of presentation
Yaak
Bulgogi — I would use chopsticks to eat the noodles, then just drink the broth.
I like that shelter…especially the rock surround. I haven’t seen prior videos, but does the shelter have any vents? The fire will suck up a lot of oxygen, and also there could be times without the fire going all night, there could be condensation ? If no vents to open, you might consider getting co2 detector.
ues bies wax to seal eny stistings
I really enjoy 😉 ☺️
Hi you have an awesome shelter but would have liked to see a full video of making of the wall, toilet facility, how you got your water source and when you went on your night walk what was that thing that Sandra was plugging in and changing a SIM card, what was its purpose? Thanks again for you giving us a great journey.
I just subscribed to your channel. I’m glad you talk in your video some don’t
hi ….I’m new subcriber here….nice video
Love Covered Bridge chips. Yes we can get them in Ontario
Min Min lights in the bush in Aus
Hi.Guys in the winter it takes a good 2days of heat to get the ground warm.Once you get there you will not burn 1/2 the wood.
Spent so much time in a tent just like that when in the Army back in Germany in the late 80’s. With a liner and eated with a yukon stove it was warm enough, but I was always leary of the stove because it used regular gasoline as fuel and it always seemed dangerous. Used the same tent in Iraq during Desert Storm.
چادر خوبي بر پا شده ولي چرا اينقدر بخاري هيزم سوز كوچك گذاشتيد
Where do these people take a shit? And don’t they know cooking food in the tent is a good way to get ripped to pieces by a bear. Big no no in bear country.
Looks like a yurt.
You can put something at the floor so can fill better. Wood and plastic. Good luck . Congratulation in your new adquisición ❤
Thanks for the chips 😉
Did you leave the stove in tent?
Wow…thrilling life…enjoy it with crystal clear nature! Lots of love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️💜
My name is Sandra also but everybody calls me sandy
Hallo Indonesia hadir 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Senang melihat kalian camping dengan udara yg sangat dingin dan pemandangan….. sejauh mata memandang.
I love a night hike myself. My favorite. I love the absolute quiet. I love silence. I don’t get that much these days.
Güzel bir ortam, harika bir araç ve mükemmel bir kamp. Kutlarım sizi BRAVO 👏👏👏
TÜRKİYE’ den Selamlar🙋
I enjoyed your video. It looked like a very comfortable place you built.
Надо построить хорошую избушку
Are you afraid of wolves? Where is your weapon like a gun please explain.
Be careful with your plastics.
good video, why do people use metal coffee cups, they burn your lips and get cold very fast
Always Love watching Canadians!! Alway down to Earth! Great Couple!! I liked your reference about a Protrait! Hope you have many more nice memories together!!
Why did you take away the snow from the tent? Are you crazy to neglect natural insolent that protects the tend from the cold? You are a bad survivor. And you don’t know physics. You studied badly at school.
wheres dis at?
