Today I am going to show you how you can take scrap wood and make beautiful high-end pieces of home decor with them! I love searching through our woodpile and coming up with all sorts of ideas to turn them into farmhouse decor. Farmhouse decor is my absolute favorite and I love how rustic and fun these diys turned out. These projects were super easy. No nails needed. The hardest part about it was cutting and measuring. If you can do that, you can work with wood!

My Walmart is fully stocked in the Waverly chalk paint. Maybe it is only some locations not carrying it?? Waverly is exclusive to Walmart. You can’t get it anywhere else. Although Folk Art is owned by Waverly.
If I can give you some advice the next time you find a paint or stain or even a glue that you might like it could be anything.
Buy one of them empty paint containers at your hardware store that like a 5 gallon bucket or any size and make yourself a label for the product that you going to put in it and when you find a product that you really fall in love with.
So you won’t take a chance on not finding that product ever again because they stop making it you could buy enough of it dump it in that container and label it keep one of your small empty containers that you could refill.
So that way the next time you do find a product you fall in love with for whatever reason that you fall in love with it for you could have enough of it on hand just keep buying it so you won’t take a chance on the company stopped making it then you won’t find it anymore if you stock up on it dumping into a empty clean container and label it and that way you have enough on hand of every product that you don’t have to worry about the company stop making it then you won’t get depressed because you cannot get your favorite product again just make sure you buy enough of each product before that happens again.
You can buy that empty paint containers at your hardware store without labels and all you have to do is relabel them with your favorite product label and just buy enough and dump it in there keep the empty containers and you won’t never run out of it again.
Maybe some more advice I can give you the next time you find a product you fall in love with maybe you can try to decipher on what ingredients that is in that product and try to make a home version for yourself closest you can get to the product that you have fallen in love with it should be pretty easy to decide for on what’s in it then you could make the product at your own home exactly the same maybe some little changes to make it easier to make your own version of it may be better.
Hopefully this by some giving you will help you out along the way and make it easier for you to keep making exciting scrap wood products to show your followers.
And maybe along the way it might save you some money on making this product and the money it cost you to keep your channel going if you could stay on products that you have to buy you can save a lot of money especially on wood and all your paint products stain products find a way you can save money you could add more exciting things to your channel especially if you can figure out a ways to save you money.
Hopefully some of this advice I gave you in this message will help you are on the way.

I use Waverly chalk paint "Elephant " and dilute w/ water. Its creates a great stain. Dries very quickly too.

I watched someone last week that tried that paint and said it wasn’t good, she didn’t like it at all… thankfully I still have some Waverly but it won’t last forever. Please do a test review.
I haven’t looked but someone said you could still get Waverly on Walmart website but I haven’t checked, but I bet Amazon has it… I hope because if we have to get it from hobby lobby it will be very high I bet.

Yes please do a video with the Hello Hobby (I think that’s the name of it?) Chalk paint compared to Waverly chalk paint. I’ve looked for reviews on Google and YouTube here and there’s honestly nothing to find on the new brand.

The GingerChick always adds a clar coat of wax or spray over chalk paint so the paint won’t wear off. Do you seal your items?
