11 Days & $900 Van Conversion on a Budget || VAN LIFE

It’s finally here, guys! This video is my van conversion video, where I show you each of the 11 days of my van conversion process. Additionally, you should know, I only spent $900 on my bare-bones conversion! I did spend a bit more on some other accessories, but it was still very budget-friendly 🙂
My van is a 1999 Chevy Express 1500 Conversion Van (and her name is Drishti).
The major point that I would like to echo throughout this video is that van dwelling is a totally doable lifestyle. So many people are petrified of this type of travel and living because it deviates from the societal norm of living to make money. Instead, this lifestyle promotes making money to live. Thus, life is no longer a constantly game of playing pay-check-to-pay-check. It is about the experience and exploring new horizons!

I decided to build my cabinets with reinforced styrofoam. It’s super light and strong, and it doesn’t require power tools or carpentry skills. Those tiles sure add a lot of weight.

Spends 900 to build a camper van me spends 100 bucks got me a bucket with toilet seat/garbage bags surplus military cot and a deep cycle battery with a 12v DVD player thing lasts week’s then some jumper cables to my rig to charge it up bam hobo life lol in all seriousness tho nice build
