Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries before 2020 and all 7 continents, we have no plans to slow down anytime soon, and we are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

My friends bought the REVEL and returned it. It had multiple RECALLS and they were on a trip in the mountains and the heat quit working. IT is just not where it needs to be to be marketed for boondocking and off grid. They selected a different Winnebago however having now been waiting on it over 8 months.

Reflects on y’all Miami pictures ,🤔🤔🤔….Ummm y’all Miami trip couldn’t get me mad so why y’all trying so hard now 😂 I’m gonna have my money up by this year and as long as I’m not around no fosters or Jackson’s or affiliates I’m straight bc a PEDOPHILE CANT TELL ME NOTHING 🎬

Thanks again Nate and Kara for taking our revel out. We’d love to have you back to check out the 2022 version which is a little better 🙂

  4. polixter on January 26, 2022 at 3:29 pm

I love their videos. But Kara’s constant upward inflection in that high tone is hard for me to listen to! I’m sorry! But everything sounds like a question 🙋‍♂️

  5. Vincent Rolfe on January 26, 2022 at 3:29 pm

When Kara started talking while in the drivers area; she drops her voice toward the end of a sentence and we lose her thought.

So.. basically.. nothing you can’t do yourself with some pre-planning, at a fraction of the cost?

  10. Bryan Burchett on January 26, 2022 at 3:38 pm

I’m sure you have posted this somewhere, but where can I find the electronics safe with charging you guys use?

  11. Sunseeker on January 26, 2022 at 3:38 pm

Nice video. But I think you should leave the vlogging to Kara. She doesn’t have as many accidents and breaks less things!!

  12. Kenny G G on January 26, 2022 at 3:39 pm

How much is the Ford sprint van?

  13. GermanCarsRule on January 26, 2022 at 3:40 pm

This was fun. It is a good comparison in the sense of pro-built vs conversion. I felt you captured the different pros and cons which different people will weigh differently. The Revel is really a bit more outlander or off grid purposed van, too. The big difference I think is the personalized and homey feel of your van. Plus, if you pay someone enough you could do more upgrades to it.

  14. Will Mason on January 26, 2022 at 3:41 pm

The $100,000 price difference is also the difference between being able to retire or not. I will take retirement over the pricier RV.

  15. Case op on January 26, 2022 at 3:41 pm

    I don’t understand why you 2 don’t have a traditional R.V ?

  16. dop01 on January 26, 2022 at 3:43 pm

    Is Chewbacca their garbage disposal?

  17. al on January 26, 2022 at 3:43 pm

Pretty cool, but definitely not worth the extra 100k.

  18. Billy TheKidder on January 26, 2022 at 3:48 pm

Less than three minutes in and I can say for certain this man should not own a gun..

  19. Earth Quake on January 26, 2022 at 3:49 pm

Great presentation winnebago should sell you one 1/2 off wholesale. 75K

  20. ethan Gonzales on January 26, 2022 at 3:50 pm

This is just a sales video almost everything they mention can be added to their van these people are so fake

  21. Alex Fracyon on January 26, 2022 at 3:53 pm

You can add a lot of these features to yours

  22. perry granger on January 26, 2022 at 3:53 pm

Lots of comfort if you are a small person in height and size

  23. John Copulos on January 26, 2022 at 3:53 pm

So guys , this was amazing. I have an idea for a conversion van that wonder who i would speak to about this idea to add about 30 sq ft.

  24. Ani Kindall on January 26, 2022 at 3:54 pm

Thank you; this was very helpful.

  25. Ned Hill on January 26, 2022 at 3:55 pm

The truth is there’s pretty much almost nothing that Winnebago has that you couldn’t do with your van. For roughly $10,000-$20,000, depending on how much you do yourself or with help from friends and family, you could have all of that and more and have it the way you want it.

FYI there’s a place in North Carolina called U-Joint Off-road that converts vans to four-wheel-drive for a very reasonable cost. They also do lift kits and other off-road adaptions. You should convert to a four-wheel-drive and add a 2 inch lift kit and upgrade the suspension Plus slightly larger tires and wheels. Then you would have a very capable off-road van that can take you just about anywhere you would want to go!

This is what I wanted to see ..one of the coolest vans I’ve ever seen

  27. Cant Beserious on January 26, 2022 at 3:56 pm

  28. greenlees podcasts on January 26, 2022 at 3:58 pm

    YOU SHOULD BUY THIS VAN

  29. satyagraha a on January 26, 2022 at 3:59 pm

I have seen other class C RVS like the NAVIONS that have bathrooms , kitchens, beds, and way more room, and they go cheaper than the 150K that rental goes for ……..Just seems that for all the convenience you get, maybe easier to go with a class C RV …….

  30. Trine Dalhaug on January 26, 2022 at 4:01 pm

  35. Blin Xhaferi on January 26, 2022 at 4:07 pm

google said it was 175 thousand you got it mixed up lol 😂

  36. BeeeHonest on January 26, 2022 at 4:08 pm

A lot of good points, now you know when you are ready to upgrade or build a new one, what you can dd to your new van.

  37. Charles Salisbury on January 26, 2022 at 4:08 pm

I prefer the bed in your van as more room and not climbing over the other person to get out but the cassette toilet is good in the other van, cooking wise some vans have two gas burners plus an electric burner for when you hook up but most don’t and being longer you have more room in your van but of course the other van is 4 x 4 also

  38. Szakacs Fulop on January 26, 2022 at 4:11 pm

Thank for this great video. ❤️

  39. Kara and Nate on January 26, 2022 at 4:12 pm

Sooo which van do y’all prefer? 🤔 🚐

  40. P7 Edits on January 26, 2022 at 4:14 pm

It seems like some design features you can add to your van for far less than 135k

  41. Lahori Gujjar on January 26, 2022 at 4:14 pm

    Good 👍👌😊

  42. Ross Campbell on January 26, 2022 at 4:16 pm

$150,000 and doesn’t even have an inside shower and toilet .. RIPOFF !!

  43. Niomie Labinski on January 26, 2022 at 4:17 pm

where did you rent the van from

  44. Jonathan Go Fast on January 26, 2022 at 4:18 pm

I would say put the elbow grease into your van, it would cost less and up the value for amenities and $$$$😉😁

  45. bill gulley on January 26, 2022 at 4:19 pm

Cash is King, I’d take yours and travel for 5 years on the difference. Happy New Year in 2022.

  46. Vava Voom on January 26, 2022 at 4:20 pm

This is asinine- you can get an RV for that price

  47. Jeffery Powell on January 26, 2022 at 4:22 pm

You guys are too funny! Love that you leave in your bloopers. I will be starting my trip touring China in an RV in March. Will be camping, Cycling and cooking throughout China and documenting my journey on YouTube and several other platforms.

  48. nicole D on January 26, 2022 at 4:23 pm

what about a compost toilet. used them before at cottages, not sure how they’d work in a van

  49. Keith Robinson on January 26, 2022 at 4:25 pm

This was really interesting ….. thank you !

  50. Callsign Vega on January 26, 2022 at 4:25 pm

I’d have to go with the Revel simply because it’s 4WD. The places I go 2WD is not tenable.
