Colors throughout the 80’s were rampant from dusty rose to deep purple.
By the end of the decade, most designers and decorators were not quite ready to “Give It Up”, including Rick Ashley.

Oh, the colors. My mother was a turquoise/aqua/teal with peach/dusty pink/pale orange/dusty rose person. The pseudo-pastel florals of the 80s were disturbing. White walls. Avon collectibles. Silver foil wallpaper with pale aqua and peach floral in the bathroom. Peach and mint green bedspreads.
One or two of these look suspiciously 90s. The rest were a trip down memory lane. 😬
I remember being thrilled to get a new sofa in the late 80’s that was dusty rose and teal stripes…nice color combo…also lots of peach with aztec prints…thanks for another fun video !

I had some wallpaper that I thought was great, it looked like tv interference – irregular zig zags – and it was red black and white and the height of cool
