Just dont put those dollar tree towels near any heat (including a hot hot dryer) or to grab a hot pan They will MELT.
I love the idea of fragrance packets, but do yourself a huge favor and eliminate all artificial scents from your home as they are poisonous. Instead get some organic natural essential oils which are not only safe but therapeutic. They need not be expensive such as peppermint or lemon. In the long run, they are even less expensive!

These are fantastic tips. I just changed the placement of my sponge holder as you advised, and it makes a huge difference!
Pro tip: Get a clear glass soap pump get the ultra dawn soap, fill up half way. Full up the rest of the way with bleach. It turns clear and it is an amazing dish soap!!!

If you don’t have Dollar tree.. IKEA is the same for all of these items at low cost. I love the white glass dinnerware from IKEA. Minimal, cheap, durable.
I wish I was this much of a visionary regarding my home lol. I’m a teacher and also a photographer and I love to sketch in my freetime and do weddings when I can…. But still… I cannot think how to make my home look lux lol gah. Entre these videos videos! 💜

Love, love, love this channel! Dollar tree is great, but I don’t think some of these comparisons are fair. The items might look similar to high end stores but almost always the quality will be much lower. For some items it doesn’t matter, but for things like dishes you might want to invest and get better quality so they last.

Love these ideas, but I have to warn you, those dish towels are HORRIBLE – like they really do a poor job of drying hands or cleaning messes and they got covered in an excessive amount of lint on the first wash.
I also hate paper towels (I won’t even buy them anymore). I’ve made my own cleaning rags out of old fabric (cutting up old t shirts and things) and just keep them in a drawer in my kitchen – out of sight but easily accessible for cleaning messes without ruining my nicer dish towels 🙂
Looove your channel buying a new house, it’s currently under construction and my BF and I got caught up on your information pool . We were thankful about your info on one of your vids regarding the cloud sofa. I had my mind set on it but they don’t tell you how hard it is to maintain day to day

I clipped sachets with clothes pins to my hangers. Everytime I walk into my closet it smells phenomenal!
When my sister got married, my mom balked at the price of renting plates and glasses and so on. Instead, she purchased all of that stuff from Dollar Tree. It looked way fancier than using disposable (have you seen some of the steel serving trays in the wedding section??!!), and when the wedding was over, they sold the whole setup as a package deal on Craigslist for more than they paid for it.
I cannot live without paper towels. Using a towel over and over isn’t sanitary.

I have the round plates from the Dollar Tree and I LOVE THEM! I bought a nice set of corelle, and eventually, most of them broke. I couldn’t really afford to buy another set at the time so i picked up the ones at teh dollar tree and the price i spent on a full set (plates, mugs, bowls, etc) i still spent less than the full set of corelle…and I got way more for the money. They are sleek, simple, and go with any design i decide to do. The cute coffee mugs are great too b/c they have the funny sayings and stuff (and often look like things you’d find in target or even on etsy). If they break…no biggie. it was only a dollar. Great video, and thanks for sharing your ideas!
I used the gold chargers and white plates for my wedding and if anyone noticed, good for them! I thought it looked really cute.

Don’t use sponges! Ever… quick dry brillo cloths or bar towels and keeps bleach bucket under sink….too germy!!!
