Bought a Honda Accord 2002 2.0T in February 2020. It has been an Absolute Disaster with multiple mechanical problems. Have been back to the dealership many times with multiple different problems. Second worst purchase that I have ever made in my life. This is my third Accord, first two were great, this one is horrible. Back to the dealership again tomorrow, but this time it’s about getting some of my money back or getting the car replaced. This car is beyond fixing and it has been a two year nightmare.

T his time the Camry knocked accord out the park. Honda is not listening well at all. The generation before this and its styling was way better. You would expect changes to be better each generation but not this time.

The interior has been the same for last 8 years
I have a 2018 2.0 all trimmed out. As soon as car production gets back on track I will trade the Honda because of road noise and ride comfort. Honda needs to get back to build a better road quality car. Bling means nothing if it is so loud in the car you can not hear the cheap radio playing.

I have an Accord 2011 with 350,000km/210,000 miles no problem. I’m going to get the 2023 accord 6 months down the line and keep this one for winter driving only.
My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you’re on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I’ve never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why fuel injectors failed so early they said they see them all the time and $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) would fix my out of warranty problem and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! Made a case with Honda and the person assigned has never called me back once. Called for 3 weeks until I realized ‘David’ could care less. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice…
