5 TIPS ABOUT LAMPS – Interior Design
Hello! I hope you enjoyed this video about some of my top five tips on lamps! The most common mistakes I see are lamps that are not correctly scaled or are out of date. Lamps make all the difference! Lighting is so important! Choose what you love and light up your life!
And, I’m serious about that lamp remote! I have them for my home, office, and we use them in the shop so we can quickly turn all the lamps (we have approximately one million haha) off at one time!

How do I hide cords for lamps on tables away from the walls, example, on either side of a couch floating in a living room?
This is just her opinion…she doesn’t even talk about the lamp should be of good quality…you buy a cheap lamp it may last for a few yrs..good quality will last for 20 to many more yrs…you can have beauty and quality…

Such a helpful video. I have been looking for a lamp for my dining room console so today’s topic was right on the money! I am now going to look for a more shallow shade just like the one you showed. I too have also used chalk paint on older brass lamps (now all donated) and of course now brass is coming back "in." Murphy’s Law! I just subscribed!

Oh my gosh please give me some advise. My husband is a true teddy bear and would love to have ceiling fans in every room. Any suggestions on combining ceiling fans with beautiful lamps in bedroom? Dining room? (Maybe I can talk him out of the dining room) What about a foyer or entry that has a vaulted ceiling so their is a dropped fixture when you enter the door but then there is also a dropped ceiling fan in the living room area ?
