any one know the paint colour?

  6. cirej25 on July 15, 2021 at 3:12 am

I like everything except the blue painting on the wall by the stairs & the entrance tile because it looks like it belongs in the bathroom.

Sorry, although I am a huge fan of wallcoverings, I hate this 80’s retro wallpaper. It’s a bit of an eyesore & makes the breakfast nook stand out in a bad way. The kitchen cabinet handles are sleek & cool, and I love the bold geometric tile choices for the entry eay & bathroom. I can’t say that I am a fan of the chartruese color either, so I can’t blame the designer for not taking ownership of that. Based on that color choice alone, I can see why the home owners needed professional decorative guidance. The designer did a nice job with what she was given, but I can’t help but feel like that dining table, although gorgeous, will be a pain in the butt to move if the house ever gets sold. It looks like it weighs a ton.

Love the changes to add personality to the space. I moved a few months ago to a new townhouse, I definitely appreciate this tips. What is the colour of the navy blue and the colour of the living room?

    Very entertaining………love the concepts………

So she talks about "cold, distant interior" and "adding warmth" and then shows this metal geometric lamp and a bunch of other stuff that’s clean-cut and harsh altogether… I understand that’s the homeowners’ style and it’s all that matters, but it’s not adding any warmth AT ALL!

The cloud wallpaper alone is £280 per roll…get real for average every day families who aren’t millionaires !!

  15. Scouty D on July 15, 2021 at 3:19 am

This designer treated the home as a whole…there was a flow and connection from room to room. The bright yellow-green seemed to be downstairs and not in the main living space, so they had some fun with that. I agree with the chrome grid wall and the white tile changes, they had a distinct geometric feel that dominated the whole space, the painted wall, softer wall paper and furnishings are easier on the eye and will not look dated so quickly. It was nice to see a remodel that restraint was used, often you see more creative, cost-effective solutions like here.

If you have 8 people over for dinner, where will they sit when it’s chill time? Drag a bunch of dinning chairs to the living room. I wish these designers would do real life design. They might not like putting a TV in the living room, but as soon as they leave, people start redoing things to put in the actual stuff they’re going to use.

Below the stair, and lounge are the only two better things in the new section. And this narcissist designer needs to stop badmouthing everything which are not done by her.

Some good tips and some additions I like, but I didn’t like the tiles, dining room and powder room. The vision was on point, though. Just not my taste.

I did not like the black in the house it has no place
Since you used bright green and navy blue snd purple why add black , especially in the fining room
I feel it killed the happy mood in the house
