This video took a hard left into Infomercial Land after about 2 mins in… Was not expecting that… Kind of off-putting, tbh.
Some things it seems like she’s not taking into consideration. First, a lot of studio/efficiency apartments are rentals, meaning only small/non permment changes are allowed, if at all. Second, a lot of people using these are in college or work for lower wages. Third, if it already comes furnished, a lot of these are simply useless or not practical. Lastly, as far as not having room for both a couch and a bed, just get a futon. Same idea, especially if you have older relatives visiting where getting on the floor may be difficult. Not angry, but it seems like they didn’t know who this would have looking for tips like this nowadays.
ASK YOUR LANDLORD OR PROPERTY MANAGER BEFORE PUTTING HOLES IN ANY WALLS. BE SMART. DONT ALIENATE YOUR LANDLORD OR RISK YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT.

I feel bad for the vo actor. The copy was obviously written by multiple sources, so she had to deal with inconsistent priorities, writing styles, and bad grammar (some of which she corrected instinctively, other times she read as is). The producer/director really should have taken the time to organize the copy into "one voice."

Awesome ideas & innovations, but I’m in Aussy & not a handyman with tools. Frustrating for me. I loved these ideas with a passion
Most of these tips are impractical, especially the ones that require installation of hardware and drilling into the walls. Seems like the people who put this video together have never rented an apartment before, especially not in a big city: drill one hole in the wall and there goes your entire security deposit. Hanging a bed from the ceiling? In what world?! Not to mention, if one were to magically find a landlord/management company that did allow all of that drilling/painting/installation, by the time those projects were finished, more money would be spent than the price of rent for an apartment that small to begin with. Assuming one were renting a small apartment in order to save money (or because they don’t have very much money), these tips would be the exact opposite of cost-effective. If you can afford to do all this extra stuff to your apartment then you can afford a bigger apartment.
Hmmm are you just advertising these products… How about you can use all recycle products not buying everything.
