For a small room, the TV was placed in a very high position that would strain one’s neck while watching. Perhaps a lower level would be best. (Consider distance between sofa to TV.)

The lounge room does look more spacious however you have taken away most of the storage – book cases.
The round coffee table should also have a bottom shelf for storage.
A floating slimline TV storage cabinet instead of a floating shelf.
Storage capacity is really important for small places.
