I might be a dumb, dumb, but which grow light is on your night stands and where can those be purchased? Love your content lately and how down to earth you are!!

Omg im literally so excited I ordered a Thai constellation too and it’s coming in this week! It’s destiny lol

  4. Keith Bechtel on May 28, 2023 at 10:40 am

that whole discussion about the colors and how things make you feel and being overstimulated totally hits with me too!!!! girl you’re not alone! LOL

  5. L Leo on May 28, 2023 at 10:41 am

See Sydney Plant Guy’s new video on care of Thai Constellation. He does a great job of explaining the care, slow growth of the plant and avoiding root rot.

  7. Seraphim Muir on May 28, 2023 at 10:43 am

YESSSS!! You explained the feeling of overstimulation even when it’s something you love! I feel like so many people don’t understand this!

  8. Kelsey Parker on May 28, 2023 at 10:45 am

You never sound ridiculous or redundant! Having a safe, comfortable, cozy space that you love is so, SO important! ❤

  9. Paola Bachand on May 28, 2023 at 10:45 am

Hi! You’re plants are awesome! What’s the name of the plant on top of the dresser behind the cactus (left side) in the terracota planter. It has little round leaves. It’s beautiful!

  10. OT7STAN on May 28, 2023 at 10:45 am

You didn’t link anything in The description?

  11. Keith Bechtel on May 28, 2023 at 10:49 am

my bedroom tip is to put a terrarium in your bedroom. It adds that touch of nature and whimsy. I just love terrariums! LOL put them in every room actually

  12. Irai Rod on May 28, 2023 at 10:51 am

I feel the same about being powerfully drawn to bright color, but finding myself "too" excited by their energy. What I’ve done is to keep all the "peppy", "striking", super eye-catching plants and colorful containers in the living room and kitchen, and choosing mostly green or subtle white-on-green variegation plants for the bedroom, and placing all of them in white planters. It hasn’t been difficult, nor does it look boring, because many plants that tolerate the med-to-low light conditions I have in my bedroom have really interesting shapes: Beaucarnea (ponytail palm), ZZ plant, Sansevieria, hurricane fern (Asplenium), Aglaonema, and Monstera adinsonii are marvelous in their diverse growing habits. Between the chest of drawers and my reading chair, I placed one of those floor lamps with multi-heads, and replaced the bulbs with GE LED grow lights. Now I can point the beams both to the floor plants AND the ones on the dresser! On a corner of the chest of drawers, and basking in the light of one of the lamp heads, I have Peperomia watermelon, Hoya Krimson Princess, a fairly common Syngonium with soft-white leaves, Alocasia Black Velvet, Stingray, and Dragon Scale, a Caladium Hilo Beauty, and a small water fountain. Not far away, I keep a humidifier running during winter. Nothing is directly on the windowsill because one of my nightstands is really close to it and I do not want that spot to look cluttered. Those familiar with all of these plants will know that there’s enough variety in plant form and in the shades of green they have for the space to look lush and beautiful, but still restful. I’m glad you’re finding how to envelop yourself in plants, but in a way that’s relaxing and comforting. Who wants to trigger anxiety and a sense of chaos first thing in the morning or just before going to bed? (PS–Sometimes, it’s a matter of looking at things with new eyes. I used to HATE my dresser. It’s massive, in solid mahogany wood, with very traditional lines, an enormous mirror, and it takes 70% of my longest wall…a hand me down that I’ve kept because there’s no modern furniture of this quality anywhere. Well, once I realized how many plants I can keep on it, and how magnificent they look reflected on the mirror, I fell in love with it! I keep all the plants to one corner, as to not overwhelm, and I’ve staged them at different heights. It truly looks jungle-like and scrumptious, but not messy. So, the same chest of drawers that I wanted to throw out almost every month has become my most appreciated piece of furniture in the room. other than the bed, of course.)

    I understand!!!

  23. Katie Cora on May 28, 2023 at 11:05 am

I totally relate. I keep all my pots to 4 colors and thats it. Almost all are white with some Grey, black and terracotta mixed in. I don’t like how colored pots take away from the greenery that I enjoy.

I’ve always loved your videos and you have been a priceless guide for the last year! Thank you ❤️. You should do a nintendo switch video! I just bought one to try cozy games (plus skyrim and stardew valley). But that would be really interesting to see what you enjoy! **Bury me with my mosquito bits** hahaha. That’s my walk away statement.

Hi Harli, this is a wonderful video, love the look of your bedroom this area would give me really cool vibes especially when I woke up. I have around 30 plants in my bedroom and I love waking up and seeing all of them. I also really love that fountain you have created, if I had the room in my bedroom I would for sure have one in that space. I think once I have a sunroom I will create one of those fountains for that space. Thanks so much Harli you always have so many great videos to watch, great tips and fun things you have created. Have a great time, stay safe and happy, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😍👋🙏💜💜💜

  40. Preciousjewel on May 28, 2023 at 11:20 am

Cute plant .I see your money tree leaves are like mine and I thought they looked droopy but they’re firm…no browning or yellowing…getting plenty of new growth often so maybe that droopy look is normal..is it?

  41. Aub_K on May 28, 2023 at 11:21 am

Hi Harli. What are the lights you use on your bedside tables? They are a great idea and I need to find them!

  46. Lady Rayylin on May 28, 2023 at 11:28 am

Thank you, Harli! For reminding me how much I love my plants. I started my plant journey with you a few years ago because I fell in love with how much you enjoyed them and how beautiful your house was just filled to the brim with plants 🌱 after a while I got overwhelmed. Plus being the only one in the house who enjoyed them was tough. But here we are again, watching you just enjoy your planty life and I’m so inspired to dive back in and give my plant babies the love they deserve 🥹

  47. unholey planting on May 28, 2023 at 11:28 am

Harli, the balls you have to order that in the winter! 👏 👏 I’m in CO so I can relate to the stress haha

  48. Anna on May 28, 2023 at 11:34 am

I have also literally just started switching to more minimal planters, and i have almost all of my plants in terra cotta now. It creates such a nice, natural flow in my house and i don’t have any intense colours breaking up that flow and overstimulating me. I have also been loving just sticking to natural tones in my interior like brown, beige, light blue, terra cotta. It puts my mind at ease😌

  49. Nikida Donaldson on May 28, 2023 at 11:35 am

Ok I totally get everything your saying! So I’m a single mom of 2 awesome kids, one is 10 and the other is 3. I have like 50 plants and definitly accumulating more lol I have a dog who is 1 and a hyper breed at that (blue heeler x). I work full time and full time mom. It’s just me. So im very overwhelmed, very tired all the time. I’m also in recovery, I have 4 years clean and sober and plants have helped huge on keeping me out of my head where it can get pretty dangerous for me sometimes to dwell on what I’ve gone thru. Being over stimulated all day, go go go, I need that simple space I literally don’t have yet. Thank you for your advice. 🙏♥️

  50. knasa on May 28, 2023 at 11:35 am

Oh, I need to know the name of the grow light on the night stand. 😍
