Covid restrictions won’t be lifted anytime soon
Julie, what if there is absolutely no space to place a cabinet or vanity? Then how to put shampoos and other bottles so that they don’t look bad? The bathrooms of my new apartment are quite small and don’t allow much things to be placed anywhere. It also has this odd layout where the shower point is quite low. I am thinking of using a pipe and bend to extend it upwards. Is that okay? Please help. Thank you.

What I hate the most about my small bathroom is it’s lack of area to put a toilet paper holder 😂 my shower is next to my toilet, and vanity isn’t near 18 inches from the other side of the toilet..the reach ahead would be too far for my girls and a tp stand is inconvenient for us 💀 I just need to throw the whole bathroom out

Mine is the room as to when I open the door, I face the faucet first and then look to the side to find the toilet. Thinking there will be no depth when just covering the wall above the toilet, will it be better to cover all four sides?
The floor is blackish and there are white tiles on all sides from the floor till just above the toilet. I want to go bright and moody with gold or large golden/beige prints
This video is brilliant!!! The ideas make so much sense yet I hadn’t quite fully thought of them. The images picked really illustrated the points beautifully with a good range of styles. Pausing long enough to let the photos sink in. I see why they hired you to design hotel ok bathrooms! Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Got a literally 2 square Metre room without high ceiling… The Angled roof is going straight through , Just want a toilet but its sooo small
I feel really bad.. been in my one bed house for over a 3 years and hardly done any makeovers! My bathroom is small and hardly any light comes in due to the window size! Thanks for the post as this will give me some good ideas 🤜🏿🤛🏿
What is your recommendation regarding bathroom baseboard? Tile or wood?
For those on a budget, here is a very inexpensive thing which I found made my small bathroom look larger: a clear shower liner. I could not believe the difference. Also I painted my colored fiberglass shower enclosure and sink top with white epoxy enamel. They are much easier to clean now too. Having the fixtures all white allows you to add a splash of color to the walls if wanted.
For a tub/shower combo…I don’t think I can convince my husband to go with a curtain instead of a frameless shower door. Any other suggestions? or is a frameless shower door my best bet? thanks, I love your content.
Hi Julie, I just found your videos today and love your videos. I have been stressing out with figuring out a low cost way to turn our boys jack and jill bathroom and closets into 2 smaller identical size bathroom with closets. I have someone to do the work, I just need to let him know what we want. I am really struggling and keep changing my mind on what I want, this has been a couple of months thinking about this but this is a big decision for me as I am having a hard time picturing the best way to do this. Let me know if you have any ideas, I would love your feed back.

In my new build house, I have 3 bathrooms. Medium to larger sized, but I just measured & only 1 of my toilets has 18" of clearance & it is on only 1 side. They are mostly 10" & 11" clearances! (3 toilets, 6 measurements).

Hi Julie! Thanks for another informative video! When you remodelled your bathroom, did you paint the black & white shower tiles or did you replace them? I’m doing a bathroom makeover as well and I’d like to paint the tiles. Would like to know what kind of paint you use on your tiles, if you painted them.
Love love love these bathroom ideas. Would like to see more ideas for how to use shower curtains and decor to transform a space when you cannot change major elements (toilet, vanity.) The typical bathroom but luxury on a budget, if that makes sense. Like, if you came in my house, a typical bathroom in a moderate priced home, tub/shower combo.
Those black and white tiles are classic. What a shame to remove them and make the space trendy and soon-dated.
Julie I have a question what are your thoughts about bathroom mirrors that light up? Either the light behind the mirror or light framed mirrors? We are building a home and the powered room is very small. I really wanted a dark color on the walls and not sure what type of lights to use. Thank you an I love your design tips you are great.

I’ve installed bar faucets on all of my bathroom sinks. Stylish with nice finishes, well-crafted, single lever, they rotate, and are much higher up. It’s very functional and they’re little pieces of art.
