Born in 85, the 90s were a great time to grow up. PC wouldve been downstairs closer to the modem (here anyway), had to disconnect our phone to use it and only after 6 because it was too expensive. No phones until towards the end of the 90s/early 2000s maybe 🤔 then it was the mighty Nokia 3210 and 3310. You had to work to send a text message lol. Everything was new and exciting and we didn’t rely on technology. Best part was no social media so everyone minded their own business and didn’t compare their lives to influencers. Oh take me back please
Take away the laptop and replace the desktop LCD with a crt and it would be more realistic for a 90s kid (yes, I know those were available but they were way too expensive to be given to kids unless you were the 1%)
I was born in ’04, just turned 17, but i am working on turning my bedroom to a 90s styled room. Although I wasn’t born in the 90s, I feel a strong connection with the 90s and I feel that I can relate to the era. It just seemed like a more simple time. It just seems like now things are rapidly going downhill by the day.
I was born in early 2000’s so I’m a bit late but I’m here for the aesthetic anyway. 🙂 I probably grew up with most of the same stuff anyway. I remember VHS’s and cassette tapes and stuff very clearly. 😀
