A Fantastic Super Cheap and Easy Van Build With Almost No Construction or Tools Required

A Fantastic Super Cheap and Easy Van Build With Almost No Construction or Tools Required

Busting the Myth that Van Builds Must be Hard and Expensive:
In today’s video we take a look at just how cheaply and easily you can do a No-Build van build. I get so many emails from people who don’t have the knowledge, skills, tools or time to build out a van, so they fear they can’t live this life without paying someone a lot of money to do a traditional van build for them. In this video I prove that to be a false myth with no basis in truth. For very little money and almost no construction required, you can have an amazingly nice home that is comfortable and practical. By using so many cheap plastic parts, the van will weigh less and get more miles per gallon. Check it out and I think you will see that you really can afford to have this life—in fact, how can you afford to NOT live this way!!
Here is the link t the cot!

It is 30 inches wide and they are hard to find

  11. Sugilite Gel on July 25, 2021 at 9:10 pm

These non builds are soo much better. The weight of all that plywood, the cost and the labor is way too much.

What if you want to bring your full size bed with you??

  20. Corey Smith on July 25, 2021 at 9:20 pm

Built out vans are very cool, but for me, van life goes hand in hand with minimalism. I don’t need a house on wheels, I just need a bed and some storage

  21. Noreen Hewson on July 25, 2021 at 9:21 pm

I’ve never had a desire to live out of a van. Until now!

I just bought a GMC Safari for $2700, 100k miles, it needs some mechanical work but it’s such a good van and it’ll be better once I build it out. this video is perfect!

  27. Steven Vicino on July 25, 2021 at 9:30 pm

This is my style. I’d hang a small fire extinguisher on that rear "cooking area’ panel because I’m a terrible cook. Water gets nervous when I try to boil it. Otherwise I’m home.

  28. Open Skies: Expanding Our World on July 25, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Maybe redundant, but the PVC trick could raise the bed for even more sotrage…

  29. lisa carlotta on July 25, 2021 at 9:32 pm

How much weight will those pvc pipes hold?

  30. Dani&girls on July 25, 2021 at 9:32 pm

Hope you make it to 1mil subs 👍✨ you deserve it, I have 2 kids so I don’t think I can do van life yet, but some day 😊☀️

  31. Kathleen MacIntyre on July 25, 2021 at 9:33 pm

This is the video that convinced me I could have a minivan camper. I don’t live in it full-time but I am loving it for a road trip. Mine is not truly no build, as my brother built me a bed. After a two month trip with the plastic drawer things I have a much better idea of how I travel and work with work. When I get home in two weeks I’m hoping I can convince my brother to help me build two cabinets that would be more functional for me.

  32. Lisa Bailon on July 25, 2021 at 9:37 pm

That’s what I did. Camping cot, laundry baskets, 3 drawer dressers plastic Walmart. Portable rubber collapsible sink, small go pro plus power station, clam shell solar panels, USB chargeable fans and lights. Butane 1 burner stove and small heater and small swamp cooler to keep cool. Cost about $350 for everything. I have a Dodge Grand minivan. Love it. Thanks again for all the knowledge you share with us.

  34. Cave Bear on July 25, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Thanks the very informative video, we did the same build. We put pipe end caps on the ends of the pipes to protect the floor (we paid 96 cents each)

  35. Aleona Gold on July 25, 2021 at 9:44 pm

    Thank you sooo much…👍👍👍

  36. Tina Drake on July 25, 2021 at 9:46 pm

just a thought but if only using to cut pvc and not planning to use for anything else purchase a cheap 5-8 dollar pvc cutter instead …mark and cut right through no sawing no fuss.

  37. Mike Bryant on July 25, 2021 at 9:47 pm

Thanks for sharing the mini van build. Looks easy enough and we are looking for the same thing.

Do you put anything between the bedding and the frame to support the mattress? If not will the metal ruin the mattress?
