Why didn’t you install the shoe unit on the wall with the nitch?
玄關是一個家的門面,沒整理好容易影響到家的磁場~~
Awesome makeover, and really cool shoe rack! Also NJB mention, woo!
Your video editing is splendid. I can say a lot of improvement compared to your first few videos. Awesome!
daniel is amazing. he is architect, designer, and carpenter all at once
Love the editing style in this! So much more fun than simply filming what you do 😊
Great video
This is absolutely brilliant! 👏
How did you make the handles??
My entryway looks a lot like yours and I’ll shamelessly just gonna copy everything you did! 🤣
Also, this video was a joy to watch, more of this please!
REALLY love this video’s style! The raw clips and being in on the action is very nice to watch
Please tell me that mirror above the shoe cabinet isn’t directly facing the front door.
thats a great idea and gives a warm look as well,……. as long as you dont buy more shoes!😎. We are trying to downsize our stuff…1. trainers, 2. business formal, 3. daily walk boots and 4. flipflops.
For entryways, don’t understand the power of the coat rack (coat tree). This should be used only for coats/jackets and nothing else. Opening a closet to store a coat is less than optimal in my opinion. Since coats are a liminal item, which are the items that need to live in an entryway space. Even if it is a wall hook for the coat you are always using, it saves the hassle of finding it in a closet.
A coat rack, a shoe rack that doubles as a table for bags, a drip tray for recently worn shoes, and some kind of seating is perfect. Above the table/shoe rack a picture ledge for Mail, and keys. A liminal space, with liminal objects.
Keep what you need, where you need them.
If you will need more space in closet, can you also built a cabinet for the recycle bins? Opened same way as the shoes cabinet?
Love this!! And it’s short !!
Wow
sometimes, little things make a big difference! ❤️
Cool tshirt! I like the fit. Where is it from, please? Looks like MUJI.
👍
Glad to see the Not Just Bikes shoutout 🙂
I thought you were going to put the shoe storage on the alcove bit.
I would have put it in the niche in the wall. So it would occupy less space. You could also stack one above the other to have even more storage.
ok, but how does it look from the front, when you enter the apartment
I honestly thought you’d put it in the nook right after the entryway, and put a nice piece of art in front of the door, so its the first thing you see when you enter
Hi Daniel… love all your video. We are looking for door handle for our home. I really love your door entrance handle. Can you share the model and band with us? It would be awesome!!! Keep doing your great work! 🙂
For a minimalist, you have many pairs of shoes! 😂 just kidding. Love your educational videos.
This editing is amazing! And I felt so soothed by the fact that we all face the same problems with our entryways and family clutter 😅
I like the new style. Well done!
The entry way is where a flourishing relationship can begin or end. Ok maybe not. It certainly impacts my experience in a home, ensuring people feel welcomed, comfortable and happy to come back again. This was some beautiful work. Well done. I could use some help with my place 👀
The way your videos have been progressing and your channel in general is very inspiring.
It’s appreciated that you are using your own living space for this endeavour, which makes it more "real".
My ikea shoe storage is the same but Herne’s version. Drives me mad because the kids shove shoes in it and the doors now don’t close properly and idk how to fix it 😖
Why didn’t you install the cabinet in that little recessed jog in the entryway wall? As it is now, it sticks out in front of the bathroom door.
Hi Daniel, super random question. How did you manage to fit Rodeby on the Stall cabinet? When trying to fit it in the length of the doors I have to cut a wooden piece in two for it not to be too big! Hope you can help, loved your video 😊
Where on earth do you store that enormous saw? (Nice hall now!)
wth omg ty Daniel for the Hindi Subs!
Great idea of shoe rack in entry way.
I really like this "vlog" style of videos. Keep them coming!
Sometimes I watch Daniel’s videos just to hear him speak.
titch, it’s LA TOULETTE and this is the canoeist video you made so far!
but, as always, the end result is worth it!
Daniel, I LOVED the way you filmed this, it incorporated a vlog style and man, you made the BUILD process something very fun to watch!!
I really like this format! So personal – I can easily relate to that 🙂 Thank you for this video, helped me decide to finally get a shoe cabinet for my narrow hallway.
An elegant solution! Pro tip for IKEA bags of little parts: take the time at the start to sort them all carefully by size and type on a fluffy towel (prevents rolling around). That way, when you need a part or widget, you can find it easily. This step can save much time and avoid frustration.
Love love love❤
Where did you use your mitre saw and where is that stored in a tiny Vancouver apartment?
Love the new style! More informal and dynamic!
Brilliant🐨🦘🇦🇺
What do you do when you have floor base board heating units? How do we find someone like you????
Great!
So good. I love that mirror. Which one is it?
I love it!
music?
