Abandoned Untouched $4 Million Dollar 1960s Mid Century Mansion

Abandoned Untouched $4 Million Dollar 1960s Mid Century Mansion

A Large House Built in 1967 that will Unfortunately Be demolished for a new house can replace it

This house has so much character, once these places from this era are gone, they’re gone forever.

i can imagine the times of sitting in the large great room with the record player playing a Beatles or Jimi Hendrix record. or watching the leafs win their last ever Stanley cup LOL

That’s pretty awesome. I could live there but that wall paper is too much for me. Lol. I know that’s what was in back then but that’s not my jam. It’s not too huge to actually live in tho. I think the kitchen got updated, because I’m pressure they didn’t have glass top stoves and dish washers back then. If they did they were so out of sight that regular ppl couldn’t afford them. Lol.

Incredible house, i recognize the 60’s vibe. I’m sure it was the bomb it that day. Had some really awesome patterns and colors, loved the sofas.

The record would’ve definitely played 😂, just put the needle where you want it to play on the record. My mother had one. Lol

broke my heart when u said they’re tearing it down. i don’t understand!! there are so many houses you can buy and tear down why do people choose to tear down the oldest ones 🙁 people bought my great aunts home, i’m not sure exactly when it was built but it’s quite old, they tore part of it down but they built onto a lot of it so it didnt break my heart completely, but it still sucks. why don’t people see the beauty and importantance of keeping the few old homes we have left!

It is so sad to see something this well preserved is going to be destroyed. They sold it to the wrong people.

And in the 300 year long era known as the Judgement "Day", (for everyone knows time is debatable to religion,) the mighty lenders would flush the people to the streets to satiate a Babylonian based God known as Dollar…..

If you like this kind of stuff you should watch The Party with Peter Sellers.

That "record player" is a Thorens turntable, very desirable and worth at least a couple hundred $ even now. I sure hope someone salvaged this groovy home before it was demolished.

This such a find! Time held still here! I was born in 1964 & this video was just so interesting to watch. Such a shame it had to be demolished. It should have been preserved through the local historical society. Thankfully you got it on video. So much history lost w/the demo. Thank you so much for sharing this gem👍

Wow 🤩 this was quite the house! I would not complain about living there! Loved the floor to ceiling windows 🪟 & all the mirrors 🪞 (however I would not look forward to cleaning them all lol 😂) Ethan I am a brand new subscriber (found out about you through Noah’s channel) and wow! Very impressed with your explore! And I think it’s great that you being younger (well same age as my son) that you are interested in exploring the older homes 🏡!! Looking forward to watching more of your videos! Cheers 🍻😄

The architect for that house as ahead of his time! Modern appliances/ interior design and that could be a perfect home!

I know you are young and its all cool and everything but are you still going to be saying "whats up guys?" at forty?? A little bit immature. The mirror thing whats up guys is going to cause some people to not watch anymore….Anyway I love your tours of abandoned homes though. It’s so sad that possessions literally mean nothing without people. When we go we leave nothing. Even the photos are meaningless unless there is someone who loves and looks at them. It makes me sad to see some really nice photos left behind in houses of children and families… no one to love them and look back at memories.

  36. Adrianna Costello on January 5, 2022 at 2:11 pm

It hurts my heart that the great character of these homes is so easily disposed of to make room for modern McMansions. Not to mention all of the great MCM furniture and fixtures left behind that probably end up in a landfill. At least we get to see them. Thanks for sharing these with us Ethan. “What is up you guys?” ✌🏼

  37. Michelle Dowdy on January 5, 2022 at 2:13 pm

They’re tearing THAT house down?? That’s so dumb. It has such character. Why not use the money they’re spending to tear it down and rebuild, to repair this house instead? Back when homes had character. They’re gonna build some boring new style mansion. Yawn!

  43. SFINSPECTOR 2211 on January 5, 2022 at 2:19 pm

It’d be nice if you could hold the camera steady and pan it smoothly. Good Lord, I had to take a Dramamine after 30 seconds of watching this

  48. Dianna Dhaliwal on January 5, 2022 at 2:25 pm

If you don’t have a 45 adapter for that record you can make one from card board then just make the small hole to insert on the center rod

  49. modmouse11 on January 5, 2022 at 2:27 pm

What a shame they are going to tear that beautiful architecture down 😢

  50. Bonnie Jun on January 5, 2022 at 2:28 pm

Upsetting to hear that they would tear down a beautiful time capsule home instead of keeping it they way it is.
