Drool! We have a riverfront 4 unit apartment with public trail in front yard, Columbia River in backyard. It’s a mid century ranch style so low ceilings. What do we do for low ceilings and make it look cool like this? The apartments are 500-750 sq ft each. Im looking to eventually do vacation rental vs regular rentals and we live in a small house next door (if rentals do well we could then afford to build our house as it should be – so fingers crossed!). 😃 i also wonder cost of these materials? We do most of the renovating and in middle of one now.
I was actually doing a search on YouTube for an apt. complex I’m going to look at, and somehow your video popped up in my search. I ended up watching the whole thing. I love the fact that you included all the attention to detail that you put into this loft!! It highlights your professionalism and the pride you take in your work. Like you said, I never would have noticed the Ombre tile effect in the master bath had you not mentioned it, but what an amazing touch!! And in a couple of different places, you used the same stone or tile, but with different textures….I really like that idea. An urban loft has always been my dream home; now THIS urban loft is my dream. But for now it’s an apartment for me, so I’m going to incorporate your idea of the mirrored tiles, it’s really a pretty effect and I also happen to love curtains!! But I have a question; it looks like you have 25 of the small tiles grouped like an actual window, did they come grouped like that with the metal or wood frame, or was each square sold separately and the grouping and frame custom made by you? And I think you said you purchased them at Pottery Barn? Again, thank you so much for the wonderful information, less than 2 minutes in on this video I hit the subscribe button, so I’ll be watching more….
