Welcome to my Atelier! This space has to function as a craft, sewing, office space, as well as an accessory closet and toy/craft storage for my kids. The only reason I was given a whole room in the house is because it serves so many purposes, so we had to many the small space organized, but also be inspirational, functional and fun.
I hope you enjoy this craft office sewing tour which highlights a lot of my ikea craft room organization ideas. I also used an ikea cutting table hack by getting my own plywood board to top two ikea cabinets for extra storage and to still be able to fit a yard width of fabric (which you often can’t do with ikea table tops). This is lovely. I am designing my own sewing space. I have a large room but do not want it to look like a craft room. It is hard to find sewing rooms that does not look cluttered. I too don’t like thinks hanging on my walls. I don’t want to look at my zipper collection or even fabric. Thanks for the inspiration. love it
