That " poster floor " that u put under the flooring is a great idea. But if I were the owner I will choose to keep that flooring u actually improve the value of the apartment.

Iโ€™ve watched numerous times, Iโ€™m in the process of moving, did u use foam board or poster board?

NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE! This DIY is EVERYTHING! Thanks for sharing your gifts with the world! Excited to watch more!

I am absolutely impressed with how knowledgeable you are about this as well as the fact that you took your time to explain what youโ€™re using and the reason for it. After seeing this Iโ€™m irritated by all the time I wasted watching other DIYers have no idea what they were doing. You showed men that you can do it better than them and look amazing while doing so! Iโ€™m now subscribed and looking forward to your new videos.

Also for the people asking why she rents and puts new flooring into something that isnโ€™t even hers instead of saving it as a down payment on a house. I do not care of you rent or own – it is still your HOME and you want it to look good. There are a lot of people who rather rent instead of purchase. If their air conditioning, furnace, fridge, stove, etc. goes out you as a renter are not liable to repair it but the landlord must do it within a certain amount of time. This is just the same as people who would rather lease cars then buy them. So just move along and mind ya business!!!

Lastly for everyone asking for an update wanting to know if the flooring has shifted, risen up, or any other questions she has made a 10 month update video, here is the link:

New sub! Great ideas! How would you adapt the flooring project to using those planks on an accent wall? Thanks!

  17. Joe on January 16, 2021 at 4:03 am

Will it still stick to the floor or is it going to feel loose

  18. LY TAYLOR on January 16, 2021 at 4:05 am

If you use poster board as your subfloor, won’t the whole floor move? (I’m seriously asking because I don’t know, not criticizing at all)

  19. Alicia RueH on January 16, 2021 at 4:06 am

Are you planning to never mop?๐Ÿค”that paper will mold if you do?

  20. Soul Too Beautiful on January 16, 2021 at 4:06 am

I have to say I was a bit skeptical because my rental has old wood torn up floors and I was afraid peeling this back off would damage them after my lease is up. Seems legit with some underlayment as bluebayeux mentioned, cant wait to try it! <3

  21. Salxis on January 16, 2021 at 4:07 am

Buying it and trying it for my room ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿป

  29. Donna Allen on January 16, 2021 at 4:11 am

You’re a very talented lady. It looks beautiful. Has anyone done this in a kitchen where it’d need mopping on a weekly basis? I’d love to do something like this in our kitchen. I’m so glad I came across your channel. I subscribed to your channel and I’m looking forward to watching all of your videos. Everyone have a wonderful day.๐Ÿ™‹

  30. Juju's Journey on January 16, 2021 at 4:12 am

I’m ab0ut to try this in my rental, do you tape the poster board to the floor? I don’t want it to move. Also you used plastic in the bathroom…. I will be doing this in the bathroom, do you recommend plastic in there??

  31. Kyah Riley Makeup on January 16, 2021 at 4:12 am

In the video this looks grayish? Is it gray or is it a true taupe?

  32. copyright1982 on January 16, 2021 at 4:13 am

Great job! That looks 1000X better than that depressing tile that was there.

  33. Carla nobes on January 16, 2021 at 4:13 am

How does your landlord feel? Iโ€™m in Australia. I am a landlord of numerous properties and tenatna cannot just paint the walls as they feel. They would need to ask permission. You do a brilliant job, but do they ask you to remove all your alterations when you leave or do you just leave them there?

  34. Annette Breton on January 16, 2021 at 4:18 am

Very Nice. So clever to put it on poster board!

  35. Jekku on January 16, 2021 at 4:19 am

Amazing results! BUT. Couple questions: 1) you’re spending an awful lot of money updating a place that isn’t your permanent home, and then when you leave, all the work that you’ve done gets destroyed because you probably can’t use the stuff again in your next place right? 2) would the cost of all of these upgrades not have been better served as savings toward an actual _house_ where you actually _owned_ it and could do whatever you wanted to it, decorating-wise? ๐Ÿค”

Nicely done. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸพHow is it holding up?

  43. White Iris Creations on January 16, 2021 at 4:27 am

What about when moping the floor? The poster board will get wet in-between the planks & won’t that cause mold? Or if there’s an accidental spill of something. ๐Ÿ˜”

  44. chewie dawg on January 16, 2021 at 4:28 am

wer did u buy the white covering

  45. Dora Tiscareno on January 16, 2021 at 4:29 am

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU NEED TO MOP.๐Ÿ’ฆ..?
    I
KNOW NOT TO USE A LOT OF WATER๐Ÿ’ฆ…BUT NEVER THE LESS WATER WILL BE USED TO CLEAN YOUR FLOOR….
    WILL IT CAUSE MOLD MILDEW…?

  46. Lauganaia Gabriel on January 16, 2021 at 4:30 am

  47. Mica on January 16, 2021 at 4:30 am

  49. Goa Way on January 16, 2021 at 4:31 am

That plank sounds hard. Is it? ๐Ÿค” I thought they would be soft. Although it is better for it to be hard…right? Nevermind, I made that comment before I had gotten the board part of the video.
