Best Outdoor Patio Covers (top 7 design ideas)

Ready to get max-info on Covered Structures for your outdoor Patio? We are pumped-up to show off the Best Outdoor Patio Covers (top 7 design ideas) in this video for you all. You will find loads of information and property photos showing off the Best Outdoor Patio Covers 2020 for your patio and deck.

Attached Covered Structures, detached covered structures, Lean-to type structures – we’ll show you how creative you can get… tucking structures in and around your home.

Attached structures will keep you dry on the way out to your space. This might be why so many think they want attached designs. It is an advantage. But the disadvantage is that it keeps everything in one area and prevents you from spreading your wings into your landscape. You’ll want to use all of your property and create destination spots. By attaching it, it becomes another room of the house – which is good, but we’d like you to think of all options.

Some homeowners choose detached structures with breezeways out to them. This keeps rain and weather away and allows more sunlight to the undercover space. Detached structures are a go-to spot. They are outdoor rooms with any or all amenities available. You’ll see many styles in this video and get ideas for your own backyard covered Structure

Lean-to Structures can fit any home – all styles work – modern, traditional – as long as they match the homes’ architecture and follow the roof line. You can have Lean-to Covered Structure, Gable Style Covered Structure, Hip & Ridge Covered Structure or a combination of 2 or 3. If you have a large property you can have a Dual Room Structure as well.

Let’s take it to the design process – a very important step. A design can show you how the structure can fit as an attached room. Or you can see how a 3-D designed detached structure works in your landscape.

Again, it’s about options and fit. You want to blend your covered structure in with your homes style while utilizing the most space in your landscape. Space that has possibly been unused for years. With the right design, you can maximize that space for everyday living.

The fun and important thing is creating a marvelous outdoor living space for you and your family to use and enjoy for years to come. We are happy to help with a complimentary onsite consultation, a zoom meeting to discuss your options all over the United States, or even other countries. We are currently working on a covered structure design with homeowners in Spain.

  11. Anthony Ferrara on July 2, 2021 at 2:49 am

I love the idea of being able to incorporate water and fire into my backyard so those were most attractive for me to see. One consideration you may be able to add to your videos is how your climate may effect any design showcased, like your in portland but if someone is in a snowy state how would you alter the designs for cold and heat extremes or what to keep in mind before putting a water feature in. Thanks for the great quality work and designs being shared!

  13. Michael Walker on July 2, 2021 at 2:49 am

Some wonderful designs unfortunately in the UK we don’t have the same weather as the USA and certainly not the amount of sunny days of the southern states, so the designs will need to be adopted to cater for winds and rains, (that why the UK country side is so green ! haha) but some fabulous ideas nevertheless.

  16. Dono Dilly on July 2, 2021 at 2:53 am

Gorgeous designs. A video that could be put into the works is talking about what size of structure would go well to the size of the backyard. Some people (me for example) have regular size backyards and are confused with what size of structure to go with To where it does not consume the entire backyard.

  17. Knowsley on July 2, 2021 at 2:53 am

Amazing what can be done to homes of the 1%ees, wish there were something the middle class could afford that looked half that good. Guy quoted us 3 months of wages to put in a 13 x 36 paver patio 🤐 guess grass and dirt will have to do fir any picnics this year 😏

Omg so in love with so many!!! I need my yard done and I want a balcony

  30. Kien on July 2, 2021 at 3:05 am

2:46 "Here, we have a beautiful view of a small backyard…"

C’mon now, how many people have space for a PUTTING GREEN in their backyard, smh? Unless your target audience here is the absolute rich and filthy rich who own 5000 sq ft houses, this isn’t realistic.

  31. Ben Haze on July 2, 2021 at 3:06 am

Fantastic suggestions here! One word of advise: check your local bylaws before starting such a project; in my case an attached patio falls under the allowed house projections toward the neighbors and anything significant would not meet the bylaw. Makes no sense as a detached design encroaches a lot more on the neighbors but the minds of our elected officials works sometimes in a mysterious way…

  32. Scott Harris on July 2, 2021 at 3:07 am

In San Antonio, if you want to survive the summer — and enjoy it in the rain — you’re gonna wanna go with an attached structure. Just sayin’
