Do any of the jobs pay on a cash basis? We are retired and as most know, you can only make a certain amount at our age (63). Social security dictates how much money we can make until a few more years. 😩
This was a very helpful video. Thanks.
Very good 👍
Loved the video and will be looking into this in about a year…. Great information. Thank you. So informative and I especially am interested in ONP. God bless…
GTA Camping
Great video guys!
In regards to Ruby’s Inn in Bryce Canyon, is that 32 hrs per week per person or can a couple share the hours? Thanks.
Rooaming. woohoo~ super , see you later. )
How about camp or do you have to have a rv.
I loved the video! My husband and I are looking into this. We are both 41 looking to sell our house in 2 years and travel and seasonal work. My husband has a mobile remote business and I would be leaving my job and looking for seasonal and in an rv. I would love to hear more about your experiences!
great videos, What was the name of the Job fair in AZ you were at?
Trying to get my wife on board full time rving, we both want to see the country and explore, but the biggest thing that keeps coming up is health insurance and being able to afford that, most insurance plans through companies we have worked at are paying alot to get very little coverage, just wondered your thoughts, I dont hear much about this on any YouTube channels, love the channel btw, I subbed
So much information!! Thank you!!
Love your videos. Thanks
Love this video! So much useful information!! Heath insurance and part time employment, are the 2 things that concern me as well, since I not close enough to retire yet. Thank you for sharing!!
Well this is interesting, retired last June, have a big brand new class C, selling house in northern illinois and buying a sticks and bricks, down sizing. And we looked at work sites a little bit last year, this sheds a bit more light on it . Looking to go south, but still want a sticks and bricks with a big Morton building for the coach. I looked for older coach’s similar to yours and they’re somewhat difficult to find in good shape. Preferably with cat engine beings I drove semi’s for 40 years. I really like the work campsite idea! It works in my mindset. Looking forward to your next video. Regards.
Hello, Tiffany and I (mark) have subscribed to your channel. We applied to the Bryce Canyon job site and listed you as the referral. Thanks for the great information.
Great video! I am not a Workamper, but I’ve been doing seasonal work for roughly seven years, it’s a blast!
Great information where are the links to the campgrounds that are hiring
$10 an hour lol
Good job, guys. Thought provoking! G
Hi… I worked 45 years so now work is a four letter word.. Wait work is a four letter word.. Listen to my theme song "No time to kill" by Clint Black. Thank you RWR…
That was our inspiration too. We didn’t want to wait cause too many friends we knew retired and then weren’t able to go and do things because of health issues. Bill and I always said that at some point we may do some of those jobs. Ruby’s Inn sounds like a great area. The ONP also sounds good. The Princess Cruise opportunity sounds really nice. Alaska is absolutely beautiful. We passed one of those lodges when we went to Alaska a couple years ago. The free cruise is a cool benefit. Great interviews.
Amazon Camperforce has gone downhill. The season is longer so you can’t do both the Beet Harvest and Amazon, which a lot of work campers do. They don’t book and provide a free campsite for you either. Instead you are given $120-140/mo (depends on location) towards a site, that you have to find yourself. A lot of Camperforce people are having trouble finding a site now and have to pay out of pocket to make up the cost difference. The weekly stipend is also taxable.
For these reasons alone l would pass on Amazon.
Working for just Full Hook Ups is a dealbreaker too. I can camp for free in most places. If it’s a few days a week l can see it but a lot of places expect their work campers to work a 40 hour week for a site! When are you supposed to get out and explore?
I work camped for 3 years and found that working 40-45 hours a week severely limited what l could do and having to find another job every 4-6 months gets tedious. I’m waiting to retire and want to do it part time or something like the beet harvest, which is only a few weeks.
Great video guys, we are interested in some you talked about. And thanks for the shout out about our channel, Daysgreatadventure
I would love to do this full-time. It sounds like a wonderful way to travel the country and even make new friends. I like the warmer climates and wonder if there are jobs in the southern part of the country. Right now I’m living in a 30 ft pull behind travel trailer, But I would love to get another RV that I can drive anywhere. Financing might be an issue for a little while, but I’m going to try.
Great video! We park our coach at a small RV park in the summer. Many people that stay there work at the local resort. Most lakeside resorts have RV spaces for their employees. Sounds like you are in a predicament, as you want to adventure, but want some cash. Look forward to seeing what you all come up with.
actually that was very informative thank u
Thank you for this video!!!
Just like if your waiting to have enough money to have a baby,to retire to travel. It will never come, have your baby,go ahead and retire go ahead and travel:the money will come ;you don’t need as much as you think.
Thank you giving me this link, this really helps!
Great info.thx guys.
That is a very informative and useful video. We plan to be out next year and will need work now and again. I have an off-topic question. I really like the look of your chairs. Are they comfortable and what is the brand?
Very interested, as I travel i love to play on my sxs and worked in Overton nv with sxs tours and very interested in what is open out west as I am headed back. Thank you.
I’m about to start on the road full time and started finding in some national parks, they want “buddy” only work situations in rv campgrounds work. I’m traveling solo. So have you found that to be true many places want couples only?
