Happy New Year! Way to start 2021. Another great video. I love the Jandi style.
He had me at, " if you don’t like trends then why did you click this video?" π€£π€£
Nick! Another great video! I have been meaning to ask (after binging your other videos) where did you get your dining room table? I love the round white tabletop with grey chairs. Fabulous look!
The ‘Love List’…omg… Does this mean that there a ‘Hate list’ coming up too…?? ππ
Love your VDOs!
A great start to what will hopefully be a much better year for us all. Some interesting trends, makes me want s bigger flat so that I can do more. My white kitchen is here to stay though. But I do have colourful accessories π
Hi. Just found out about your channel and what a wealth of resource it is so thank you. That photo around 2:47 would you happen to know the wall color on that one? The style Looks like a mix of scandi and mid cent which is up my street.
Really love where these trends are going and this round up is the best I’ve seen! We’ll be inheriting some light grey cabinets, and keen to go for something a bit warmer and richer for the kitchen island to avoid having a paint them all…! Wondering if this would work though since grey is a cool toned colour?
Love love loving your videos! Thanks Nick
Happy New Year from Southern California! Im taking notes! Could u do video on how to accessorize our homes to achieve some of these trends when we cannot commit/afford to change to lighter floors, repainting kitchen cabinets, etc
Hey Nick I love your videos. I would seriously enjoy a video on the new colours, and how to integrate them into our existing palettes. I am renting and have smoky blue/grey walls. I’ve been playing it safe with a white sofa and brown leather armchair, rich wood furniture and white dining chairs, I am sure you can picture it. Very safe and boring palette. I want to warm things up but have no idea how. Happy New Year!
Luv ya Nick!!!
Great video, great content, as always… could you do a video on the flow of the room in the near future. I am sure it will be very helpful for most of us. And.. Happy New Year to you and all your loved ones π
Awesome video as always π Happy New Year!!! I hope you enjoyed the Holidays π
Oooh! The Chopvalue workstation desk is beautiful π€©
I couldn’t be happier that the gray trend is dying, and will also be happy to see the all white "farmhouse" style go out the door. I have always
loved and used warm colors and tend toward a traditional, collected look. Am really looking forward to seeing what designers come up with in
the coming years, especially in the grand millenial style. Love your videos!
I would LOVE one of your deep dives on this new Japandi style. <3
HI Nick there is a typo in the text insert of the text for grand millenial – "sesign" in the last line (at 9:48)
Just subscribed…love your content!
When is your house tour?
Great video. Thank you ππππ
Goodbye to gray. Hello color.
Yaaahhh!! Thank you π so much!
Great video, Nick! Love your channel and your sense of humor.
I’m really hoping you’ll do a video on maximalism π€πΎπ€πΎπ€πΎ
π
Can’t wait to see where grandmillenial goes. Love it in a toned down version. What’s old is new again….as always.
Hello Nick I just been enjoying your channel l discovered your channel about two weeks ago and I’m hook but l like to know what are your feeling on some of my favorite designs and l like to know would you do videos on 1). I love Artdeco, Hollywood Regency, and Eclectic…
loved the video though I have always been a gray lover, trend or not. I think if you have a strong point of view and are intentional and thorough with your design it will never look bad/dated.
Great video. ππΎ While Iβm not a warm color person and none of these 2021 trends speak to me personally (excluding the two tone kitchen), they are pretty and some are timeless.
Happy New Year!
I love your content and honesty.
Love your channel, Happy New Year Nick!
GrandMillennial is more versatile than I originally thought. And it really shines in Spring. There is nothing better than after the cold and dreary 9 months of bleh here in Seattle to burst out with Spring decor and accents. Plus, grandmillennial validates my crafting projects that are so calming and relaxing.
Best of success in 2021 to you.
Re 2 tone kitchens: I did my kitchen in 3 tones in 2008. (I was a cabinet/closet/kitchen/ bath designer.) Moved in January 2016 and painted the base cabinets a dark grey/ blue and replaced uppers with plain white cabinet boxes,(think Ikea) some of which I owned for 15 years. Conclusion: 2 tone kitchens have been around for many years.
My home is 1100 sq feet with a great room combined with the kitchen. The home is 16 feet wide. Iβm thinking of the 2 toned cabinets but not breaking it up will make the space look smaller or bigger. I want the island a charcoal color with lighter gray cabinets. Do you think that would work?
We were entering this new decade. It was time for esthetic changes anyway. World events have also changed things up a bit. ie… tele work from home, home lockdowns, home meals.
Our experience from home has changed.
Would really want to hear your opinion and advice on mixing wood furnitures. It’s a little bit tricky!
Happy New Year . Wishing that your channel will continue soaring . The creative design explorations in your videos are so appreciated .
I am so here for the grand millennial, new traditional, traditional 2.0, and itβs seemingly 1000 other names! π I have called my style βgranny liteβ for a while now and am glad the rest of the worst is embracing the look
Wow..just found this channel…LOVE IT!!!!!!
Loving your content! Educational, concise and very polished! Happy New Year!
I have been curating curves (Parisian club chairs, arched metal bookcases, round tables, sleigh beds) in my homes since 1999. Theyβve always been out there, but I had to pick past the plethora of boxy and straight-edge pieces to get the look I wanted. Now itβs a trend? I think my curvy interiors possess a timeless look.
Sounds like 1970βs is back in style. I like the grand style, nice without the gaudiest of the 1980βs…..I think I still have a bag of shoulder pads I removed from sweaters and jackets. Why I saved them is beyond me!
Another great video!! Wishing you a prosperous 2021.
Awesome video! Thanks, Nick! Happy new year!!! π₯³π₯π
I love your videos and Iβm so happy I discovered you! I am in the process of getting a new house and Iβm looking forward to decorating the space, especially with your recommendations.
Happy New Year! Love your channel. π
Nick I love your approach to interior design, expressing your thoughts instead of forcing your viewpoints on others. You seem to be well balanced. The are approaches to interior design just like there is to fashion. I wish you success in the new year and that your channel grows. Handsome guy
π I love the idea of warmer shades coming back in style. I like the gray shades when I see others use them, but just not for me.
You don’t have better taste than your mother. She followed trends just like you do now and new generations will raise eyebrows to your taste today.
