In this RV life travel series, we show you our experience as an RV newbie couple for the first time living off grid in an RV. Before buying an RV and RVing full time, we decided to rent a camper van and head up to Northern Arizona to boondock in our RV, off grid. This is our journey living in a small Class B RV as van life newbies to determine whether to take the leap, buy an RV, and become full time RVers.
Along the way, we make a few RV newbie mistakes so we will share with you some initial RV tips and tricks if you also decide to give full time RV life a try. Our small RV did not include a bathroom or a refrigerator so we had to quickly adjust to minimalist RV living but we really enjoyed the great outdoors at our off grid RV camping sites. While we may be an RV life newbie couple, our experience has really helped us get a better understanding of whether RV living and van life is for us. I would sleep the opposite direction by adding an a pull out board for leg lenght…and comfee city usa and be happly ever after.

This is such cool campervan, definitely not one I’d try to full-time in but looks perfect for shorter trips!
You can get one of those small plug in refrigerator in your cigarette lighter. Don’t hold much but it will do for small things.
Don’t forget to add salt to your ice to make it last longer.
A cold shower is better than no shower! I tried to again sell the RV life to my wife, still no dice…lol! You guys seem to have fun, and the scenery around you looks awesome! Great video!! 👍👍👍
Sounds like you need to check some conversation van videos for some good ideas ie diy indoor potty prep, cooking storage and stealth 😗enjoy

My stepsister and her hubby, both retired military, sold their nice home with a pool, and bought a nice RV. They have been RV’ing full time for about two years now, an d absolutely LOVE it! I think if you had an RV, you two would totally love it, too!
That would be amazing to go all over in an RV. Just get one of those portable camping commodes and attach it underneath when traveling, then pull in to rv park and dump. Awesome idea!!

Kamau feels your pain Dave. He hasn’t been in a rush to do a campervan for that reason. A Sprinter is usually the preferred vehicle for taller folks it seems like.
