I love this house and renovation. So glad they didn’t paint that beautiful woodwork! But where did the beautiful sink go? That was the best part of the kitchen…

We just bought a 1920 craftsman house in Edmonton. We get possession tomorrow!! It has all the original trim and wooden doors and they haven’t been painted over either. I have no idea how it lasted 100 years without someone painting over the trim, but I am so glad it did.

Wonder if the gorgeous original kitchen sink could have been reused in the laundry?

It was so relaxing to see them respect the house the way they did. Even if they didn’t do things exactly the way I would have wanted, it was still just right for the people who did

  12. samyukta samaga on May 3, 2021 at 2:21 am

    Fabulous work guys

  13. David Cattin on May 3, 2021 at 2:25 am

I saw that her sweater matched the color swatches long before they said it! Beautiful result with the home.

  14. LynnB on May 3, 2021 at 2:26 am

As a true Craftsman style aficionado and fan, I would have come through the camera and strangled you if you had painted the wood trim in that house. I love that you guys are leaving this house and all it’s original charm but bringing it back to where it’s refreshed. You could do my house any day

The kitchen is GORGEOUS with that dark green island and the brass handles. My fave is arts and crafts anyway and this reno is fantastic. My grandparents’ house was an arts and crafts bungalow and my fave thing was a window seat next to the fireplace. When the windows were open in the summertime, and their mature maples outside that window seat was the perfect place for a 10 year old to curl up and read. I can still remember that house though it’s been nearly five decades since I have been inside it. It had gorgeous woodwork like this house, very wide, deep porches great for lounging on wicker furniture in summer.

Great job beautiful home! I love the paint colors. I’ve Been looking for a nice shade of green. What is the color of green paint called?

  19. Lorna Marie on May 3, 2021 at 2:32 am

These people are good. If I could get me a man like Ben how great would life be.

  20. Sarah Westling on May 3, 2021 at 2:34 am

I grew up in a house just like this. The interior wood and built-ins especially sent me back in time. Wow.

  21. Eric Hill on May 3, 2021 at 2:37 am

    That’s a beautiful home.

  22. Julie Enslow on May 3, 2021 at 2:39 am

I found this to be a very sensitive and intelligent renovation. The house is preserved – which is awesome. Updating the kitchen means it is not a museum – it is a home. Application of color can not be improved upon and the end result will make this old beauty shine for a very long time. Beautiful.

Love the color combo for the exterior. Great choice.

  26. jean ross on May 3, 2021 at 2:43 am

The video was too short for me, I wanted to see more of the house.

  27. LM on May 3, 2021 at 2:43 am

great renovation….except for the colors! could have left the dark blue, or tried some neutrals

  28. K March on May 3, 2021 at 2:44 am

  32. sylvia seri on May 3, 2021 at 2:49 am

I love all that wood! Wish the kitchen had the same wood color along with that wonderful sink!

  33. Rose Lee on May 3, 2021 at 2:50 am

Did not like the outside colors at all, sorry but those 3 colors did not go. I think baby blue would’ve been better

    💝💝✝️God bless you guys 👩‍❤️‍👨

  35. Marie Arce on May 3, 2021 at 2:53 am

I wish they spent a little more time on these videos on the actual rooms, it doesn’t really let you take it all in. Did I see this correctly, or was it missing a column on the front?

  36. Adam & Eve on May 3, 2021 at 2:53 am

I’m watching on my TV for the first time, and I came here to say they’re over priced for renovations. I just watched them give an estimate of 120+k with the house only estimating at 65k😒. Mind you the 65k wasn’t included in the 120+k 🤯. Now, I can say they do an okay job with designing the layout, but the decor isn’t the best. Call the Property Brothers…. 😬🤭🤐🤦🏾‍♀️

  37. layde1 on May 3, 2021 at 2:56 am

    That is one beautiful house.

  38. Crystal Telf on May 3, 2021 at 2:57 am

    The color of the craftsmen…perfect!

  39. Angel Bulldog on May 3, 2021 at 2:58 am

Trends are boring. I’ll be thrilled beyond words to move past black/grey/white, granite, stainless…all very overdone and common. Shows no imagination. Trend follower or trend setter? Be true to the house.

  40. Djawn Sjhilson on May 3, 2021 at 3:00 am

I’m upset that they used spray paint on the vent hood. They could have enamel coated, powder coated, automotive painted, etc. I think it’s not as professional as it could have been.

  41. ptgeek symptom on May 3, 2021 at 3:02 am

    The color pallet 🤮

  42. Cherilee Delcarme on May 3, 2021 at 3:03 am

This is a beautiful design. Erin likes using green in most of her designs. Always turns out good.

Who is doing that dude’s make-up and hair? Dracula? He’s sweet and deserves better. IMO

  44. A SHIBA on May 3, 2021 at 3:04 am

I have never seen a home of theirs that I have not LOVED. What is different from their show from all the others out there is they refurbish and recycle so many of their materials and bring them back to life making their properties unique.

  45. twillett100 on May 3, 2021 at 3:04 am

This might be my favorite EVER!!

  46. Janet Williams on May 3, 2021 at 3:04 am

    So beautiful..so love this..♡

  47. Slay Potato on May 3, 2021 at 3:05 am

Liked the old kitchen better I’m not into stainless Steele in a craftsman home if I could afford a craftsman home to fix up then I’d go with vintage appliances in white Sorry all the work was beautiful n the integrity of a craftsman was kept a Hoosier would have been nice in the kitchen don’t dig the modern furniture either This is one of my fav renovation shows

  48. carol123 on May 3, 2021 at 3:07 am

Should also show how you did bathroom and bedrooms.
