For me is not that I didn’t connect with the characters of book lovers. I actually reaaaally disliked Nora’s sister character very very very much😂 And the way they talk about Nora’s obsession with work has anything to do but with being a workaholic… so I don’t thinks I’m giving it another chance 🥲

i read belladonna too and had similar opinions 😭😭 i couldn’t explain why it wasn’t great to me but i think you nailed it when you said it felt very surface level. the concept was good but i didn’t feel involved in the story either :(((

I’m reading The Atlas Six and it’s the first book by Olivie Blake that I read and I’m loving it (but it’s very true that it’s kinda a slow read ’cause it has so much words on each page). Like, sometimes I get a little confused, but the more that I get into, the better it is
