What is the size of your bed? I’ve been thinking about a econoline, and wondering if I could sleep sideways in one.

  2. Stuart Allen on October 16, 2021 at 8:59 am

Dude, this is exactly what I want to build in the van that I’m picking up tomorrow. I’ve been looking online for some inspiration

  3. Allison Nodurft on October 16, 2021 at 9:00 am

Wait? Did you get rid of your Subaru?

  4. Michael Lentsch on October 16, 2021 at 9:00 am

Your van for sale? And or do you have plans drawn up that you could share or sell to me I have a e-150 I just bought want to do a similar set up that you did! Would appreciate the feed back either way thanks man! This will be my first build out for fulltime living

Two things you said that has made me decide to get a passenger van rather than a cargo, even though I will have to have the seats pulled. You highlighted the vents in the back and the side windows that pop open. I think it’s more challenging to mount cabinets/shelves up over part of the windows but I love all of the windows in a passenger van. Many cargo vans don’t have enough windows for me to feel comfortable.

I laughed when you talked about using the ice chest. πŸ˜„ From my experiences with the very temporary barbecues and picnics, I know I don’t want to even start using one on the road. Your build is simple and almost minimal but it is so clean and beautiful. You must be a skilled cabinet builder. Nice presentation. Cutie little furry friend. Thanks for sharing and best wishes!

Hey Chase, thanks for this helpful info! Any chance you can identify the additional toilet component (from Home Depot) you used to lengthen the water valve?

My philosophy on Van life is k.i.s.s. Use the Van like a hard tent. Move frequently stay clean

  13. WisTex Vlogs on October 16, 2021 at 9:07 am

Awesome van. My main quarrel with most van builds, is people putting 10k-50k into a van build….. You built a camper/rv, more expensive than an actual camper/rv. Dont get me wrong, I see the appeal, and as I said, I love the van build, but its just not for me. I spent $1200 for my old conversion van. Spent maybe $500 at most on the entire build. Been living in it for almost 2 years now.

I saw a video of a couple who took their van to "Fiberine" in California and had a fiberglass high top installed. That’s an option if you can’t find a high top for sale.

  18. Maria on October 16, 2021 at 9:19 am

    Great build!

  21. Matteo 70 on October 16, 2021 at 9:23 am

I’m european, italian to be precise – so common places want me classy, elegant and branded clothes all over BUT… i just go crazy for those V8 conversion camper vans. Just adore!
    May be sick somehow…?

  22. Susan Sharp on October 16, 2021 at 9:26 am

    Excellent build

  23. Darlene Smith on October 16, 2021 at 9:26 am

awesome van build! I noticed your cabinets cover the top of your windows. How does that work with condensation? How did you install the cabinets to be over the windows?

What a wonderful time to come across this video, about to do the exact same thing with almost the exact van (2002 E150)

I’ve got the same push bumper on my E-150 cargo van, looks super cool but you ain’t pushing shit with it. It will fold up like an aluminum can.

Hi I just watched your conversion van video. I’m interested in how you power your max fan? I was considering a fan but I wasn’t sure if you needed shore power to run it. Any information would be appreciated! Great job!

  46. chris niner on October 16, 2021 at 9:51 am

At least paint the roof white. Baking in a dark colored vehicle sucks.

  47. Zach Charlot on October 16, 2021 at 9:56 am

How tall are you. im pushing 6’2. Dunno if i could sleep sideways in that build :/

  48. John Yang on October 16, 2021 at 9:58 am

Awesome build. Very clean and functional. I see swivel seat base in the future so you and your company can both sit and have a conversation. πŸ˜‰
