In 2018 it was $43 to tent camp at Fort Wilderness.
In 2019 it was $68 to temt camp at Fort Wilderness.
The amenities remain the same, all you were doing with paying for parking.
It looks like it’ll be $90 to tent camp at Fort Wilderness in 2021. And a lot of the amenities are lost.
(All of these are the same time each year)
The basic answer to this is called Bob Iger, and Bob Cheapek.

I’m a truck camper. Just the wife and me. We usually wilderness camp off grid. Occasionally when traveling back east to visit family, we will stay at a campground because we want to hook up to electric for air conditioning. Something we can’t have when boondocking unless we run our generator. From your video….. We would not even CONSIDER staying here because of the expense. Initial and other. Paying for everything you do would get pricey.
Maybe, if your wealthy enough, it would be fine. If your wealthy enough, why not charge $ 250 per day and have everything included at no cost. Except for the restraunts.

    great video

  6. V Hinton on January 13, 2022 at 3:15 pm

$170 per night and you brought your own house. Unaffordable to average family! Enjoyed vid!

  7. james ray on January 13, 2022 at 3:15 pm

No point in complaining on price when everything now days is becoming over priced as long as people are willing to pay

  8. Victoria Yartz on January 13, 2022 at 3:17 pm

Many campgrounds charge $60/night & don’t offer ANY of these amenities. I know it’s expensive, but I definitely think it’s fair!

This is the video that got us hooked to your channel. Watched it a few times.

Thanks for this video! very well edited! question, in your opinion, where are the best location campsites for a 40′ Class-A? We like to be close to the boat launch I guess this is near the trading post and/or the Hoop-dee-doo revue?

Hi Clay, your sneakers look very comfortable hoping to travel to Disney Resort with my son and family, and at 63 my feet are screaming for comfort during all the walking, what brand are they?

  20. Sherwood Rogers on January 13, 2022 at 3:32 pm

Hey guys , I’ve watched a few of your videos from Disney to Stone Mountain Ga and a few others . Y’all definitely know how to do it big and have a good time. I’ve watched your ( I guess most ) recent Disney fort wilderness video and I noticed no move RV and now a awesome looking fifth wheel and my favorite truck on the road a Ford F series super duty 4×4 , a Great choice I might add on your truck. Ok so here is what I would like to know far as fort wilderness , how far in advance do you guys have to book your reservations for a site? My wife and I have tried a few times to get reservations for a campsite and it seems always full. Your input on that issue is greatly appreciated. Until then we will keep enjoying your videos which are well done I must say. Thanks in advance the Rogers family

We’ve always gone to Disney for 10-14 days every year. We usually stay in a moderate resort but this February we will be staying in our 5th Wheel at FW. I can’t wait! We will start full time RV life in January and we are excited. Great video guys! Count my wife and I as new subscribers.

I HAVE BEEN TO DISNEY MANY TIMES SINCE 1971 AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT DISNEY WILL NOT SEE ANOTHER NICKLE OF MY MONEY UNTIL THEY DROP THE MASK REQUIREMENT.

  30. Heather Herdell on January 13, 2022 at 3:43 pm

I love Fort Wilderness, but the last few trips I had scheduled, I ended up just getting a hotwire deal for coronado springs or All star Movies because it was actually cheaper (and I could work from my laptop) . We ended up just visiting during the day lol. I do plan on going for a week in September/October though! There is something special about getting to Magic Kingdom by boat too<3

  31. Aaron Parker on January 13, 2022 at 3:44 pm

Love this video and what an amazing place to stay. Has anyone ever said you sound almost like Joel Osteen lol its uncanny sometimes.

  32. Tony Rowland on January 13, 2022 at 3:45 pm

Compared to hotels that price is less than half the room rate per night. As far as I am thing. The whole area is overpriced for what you get. From WA STATE IT IS ON A GOOD DAY A TWO OR THREE PLAIN CONNECTION JUST TO GET THERE. NO THANKS.

  33. lisa lee on January 13, 2022 at 3:47 pm

Thank you we haven’t stayed in fort wilderness since the 90s but look forward to going back again

  34. keenanboy3000 on January 13, 2022 at 3:48 pm

Such a cool video…the editing, information, and length were perfect!

  35. Gilbert valdez on January 13, 2022 at 3:50 pm

They should give the cart to use for that price that is very expensive for a rv park!

  36. cjhan47 on January 13, 2022 at 3:51 pm

The fact that Disney takes the COVID protocol so seriously is the only reason I booked a Disney trip this year. And man I’m glad they are I was starting to go stir crazy.

  37. S RC on January 13, 2022 at 3:53 pm

You could stay at one of the hotels for that price. That’s insane.

  38. Allure7 on January 13, 2022 at 3:55 pm

The bottom line is the camp grounds do offer alot of amenities and activities for the guest with options of restaurants near by. There is security and a staff of people to care for the animals and clean and maintain the camp grounds it’s not your average camp ground you get what you pay for. It’s like comparing motel 6 to the four seasons. If you want the best there’s a price to pay and it’s worth it to people wanting this type of experience and that can appreciate the value of everything that comes along with it.😁👍

Just found your channel and immediately loved it. This is my first video I’ve watched. I love Disney!! Have a great big beautiful tomorrow!

disney Supports TERRORISM !!! donated millions to terrorist blm !!! And they support the Defund Police movement !

  41. Kevin Voyer on January 13, 2022 at 3:58 pm

Oh definitely way overpriced!! I stayed there once for a few weekdays, even though I actually live only 30-45 minutes away, depending upon how traffic is moving. Oh it’s a beautiful campground, almost allowing as much site space as State Parks do, as apposed to sardine can KOA and Good Sam and all the rest of the private for profit campgrounds. But I’m here to tell you that the best laces to camp are State Campgrounds! By far they cost less, have less than half as many campers per sq ft., with most in areas and land worth too much for a for profit setup. But there are a couple shortcomings, like no to weak WIFI, with most facilities like bathrooms and showers without AC, or we’ll stocked Camp Convenience Stores, or pools. But on the other hand, most do have rental canoes and actual beaches on lakes. Most are also a bit off the better path away from the hustle and bustle of highway traffic noise or trains an planes! Mainly in areas too valuable to use as a campground. However if you have a rolling mansion like these two above, having a huge 5th wheel for just the two of them? The State Campgrounds have very few spaces large enough for such largest footprints! We do just fine with our 2019 Colorado Crew Cab 4×4, V6, towing a very adequate 2020 Grey Wolf 24 JS, at 27’ overall and 4,500-5,600 lbs max as we roll out! I’ll close this rant with to each their own, peace, safety and above all good health and respect for all!

  42. Lori Cates on January 13, 2022 at 3:59 pm

I’m heading home from that right now with my group

  43. dT6E7hmja4iXjsJw on January 13, 2022 at 4:00 pm

Is there WiFi? WiFi at the sites? What’s on the TV cable? Included in the price or fee?

  44. Moseying Around on January 13, 2022 at 4:02 pm

So worth the price. We love staying at the fort! So clean, fun and magical!

I’m thinking about running the two sewer lines into one. Should save some time on the set up process / breakdown. You should look into it.

By far the best video of Fort Wilderness we’ve seen yet. Great job guys. 👍👍
