Hello, I agree with 90% of what you discussed and had all of them happen to us except the bird but disagree with your leaving the lights on. Last year we went to a state campground way out of town with the express desire to watch the meteor shower and the camper next door had a Pink Floyd laser light show on all night. Dumbest part was the folks went inside to watch tv at like 8pm and left the lights on all night. Now while I would never actually touch another campers possessions we sure wanted to unplug their power cord. Light pollution is every bit as bad as noise pollution. To some point I blame the camper manufacturer for not putting a simple fix like a sleep timer on the lights and making lights a decorative feature. The other thing is while almost every campground are fanatics about noise the Rangers walk right past the laser light show with no comment. PS: mice don’t care about your light rope their just looking for a snack and from my experience lights draw flying insects. Have a great day.

Sounds to me like u need to avoid campgrounds and RV parks and just boondock…. B kuz I like my wind chimes

All these things are just common sense things but most people just don’t have common sense 🤣

"We’re introverts and we really don’t want to socialize so don’t come knocking on our door or come to our fire pit and start talking, but we love to meet you guys!" 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

The generator, the bird/barking dog, Really hit home with me. One of our worst trips was About five people sitting at a picnic table at a site behind us just chatting to about two or three in the morning. The sound carries a long way. We had to get up early for my daughters soccer tournament and I was really grouchy after that. Mind you we were tent camping and they were RVing. As for the guy who banged loudly On the side of your rig, You can solve that by speaking in a firm voice “Honey hand me the Gun, let me see what this guys problem is”. He will hear you And probably not be there when you open the door

  7. Chris Chapman on October 19, 2021 at 9:33 am

Talking about the trash at a camp site….
There’s one thing I’ve always carried on all my coaches is a small retractable rake that "un-retracts" to make the handle long and rake wide. The last thing we do isn’t pull out of the site, it’s after doing that I rake the site I stayed.
It’s simple. It’s quick. It’s "Harbor freight"cheap buying it at harbor freight.

With anything you borrow, leave it better than you got it!

  8. wendy labonte on October 19, 2021 at 9:34 am

Seriously a night light should but very dim and not at anybody’s eye level or glaring in the window..
Now an rv park is different, but camping is camping…rving is not camping…
Dispersed and boondocking camping…turn out your dam lights!!

At state parks you can choose your spot. I know what spots I prefer at my local state parks and when you know you’re going to be camping a certain amount of days you pick the site or the next best site for those days. There’s no sense in moving. No one knows if you’re a full month pay or not. I know as we become full timers I’m going to keep a ledger of the sites we prefer and best times to book etc. Also some campgrounds are smaller than others so everyone is close especially older campgrounds and back in only campgrounds vs pull thru. Just my experience so far. Lately picking spots is harder and harder due to covid and not being able to travel outside the US. So there are so many more new campers. I do agree on the rules of not having people (children and leashed pets are exempt obviously) on your site area and pets running lose or barking non stop. I have 2 small dogs who most would think are "yappy" but they rarely make a peep. Just my input. I do love your channel so far. I was just recommended by a friend and hope to be able to do what you do with YouTube when my boyfriend and I start retirement.

Leaving the campground early, 5 am, the other day because I had to return home to take care of other business. I’m draining tanks, etc., when I hear this car alarm and I thought who the hell is that? Well my GF comes running around the corner yelling for the truck remote. She grabbed the partially locked door and it was my alarm. I finally got the darn thing shut off then about three minutes later the guy in the camper came out and gave me the I’m going kill you look as his ankle blighting dog drug him down the street. 🤣🤣

  14. L'nae Luza on October 19, 2021 at 9:42 am

We like our lights, too, so we compromise. We mostly only use the rope underneath. If it’s a dark skies area, we don’t even get that out. We mostly turn all lights off during quiet hours. When we do add more, they are little/and or subtle. And we never shine at another camp spot. (And our rig doesn’t have those giant/bright front cap lights that some of the 5th wheels have.) When the weather is nice, walking the campground loop among the dog owners and checking out cool lights and setups is one of my favorite things to do, …especially during football season, where the game and cheering you hear can vary around the loop.

Also: I’m 100% here for the banning of all leaf blowers everywhere.

  15. titaniumgirl55 Claudia H. on October 19, 2021 at 9:43 am

Our camping neighbor somehow tripped the circuit breaker so he had no power…instead of calling the office, he unplugged ours and plugged his in! My husband went out to see why we lost power and the guy told us not to touch his power plug. Hubby told him,”that is our outlet” the replied, “I know but ours isn’t working” the guy knew what he did and didn’t care! just then his wife turned something on like the microwave and it tripped this outlet too. Something was wrong with his electrical in the trailer. We had to go to the office and have them reset the power and they had to come tell the guy to leave our hook up alone. The guy was super put out.

  16. ja a on October 19, 2021 at 9:44 am

If you expect other people to put on a mask for your lights, then you could use ear plugs for a barking dog.

one time, at a KOA campground, we were in a pool. A group of teens started throwing balls at our group….and then turn away and pretend they didnt do it. Their parents were laughing. Definitely a rude NO NO. I saw it, and told the camp manager, who stopped it. But the group got aggressive……….NOT cool

  20. S Barnes on October 19, 2021 at 9:50 am

You forgot -turn down the music! Not everyone wants to hear your music while outside trying to enjoy the peace and quiet.

  21. Sailingman25 on October 19, 2021 at 9:51 am

If I had to buy an RV, I’d add the color changing lights. When night time I just shift the lights from bright to red and green, like the Navy do on Aircraft carriers. We slept fine with dim red lights.

  22. Keez Jordan on October 19, 2021 at 9:53 am

Your phone conversations outside late night or early morning. I sorry but shut up!

  23. ReaEllen Tompkins on October 19, 2021 at 9:53 am

Had someone knock Loudly on the door at 1130 pm. Have a 90 lb dog who didn’t appreciate a late night visitor. Chased the guy over to someone’s truck where they had jumped into to get away from the dog! The dog knows his job is to protect his family at night when everyone is in bed! He doesn’t bite but he will scare the daylights out of you!

  24. argtv100 on October 19, 2021 at 9:54 am

They are all poorly made grossly overpriced unsafe examples of american culture-less excess … made for piggish, vapid, spiritually bankrupt, obese, knuckle-headed fools whose only form of pleasure is smelling one another’s farts in expensive overcrowded ""campsites" in end of life reward for having a deceitful existence cheating others.

  25. Midnight Hour on October 19, 2021 at 9:57 am

It’s amazing how much noise a $40 fan can block out! 😉

  26. Lucinda Lopez on October 19, 2021 at 9:59 am

I agree with some if these, but some of these are also a little snobbish of you. You act like you are better than others.
Majority of the time I like your videos, there is a few like this I can’t stand and really find you guys to be snobby.

  27. Richard Lee on October 19, 2021 at 10:00 am

Lol, large rig RV in general is an offense to nature. Just stay home folks. Lmao

  28. Anthony Watson on October 19, 2021 at 10:01 am

Good to know that you two like to keep to yourselves. I was just watching your video and hoping that I never end up at a camp site near you. I am not attempting to be mean or rude at all. I am sure it took a lot of courage to make this video. It just seems that maybe a sticks and bricks is more your thing. I was so shocked to see that you recorded and posted the people. For sure the washing dishes next to your RV???? Why? Did they not have their own water faucet… lol

  29. Sheri GinAZ on October 19, 2021 at 10:02 am

Huge one is PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOP!!. I see it all the time. Noone wants to be out taking a stroll after dinner and have to side step you dogs pile of sh##. Another "pet" peeve is seeing young kids walking dogs that out weigh them. For example, a full grown 60lb shepherd had no trouble whatsoever breaking free from the child that was walking him to race over to "say hello" to me and my Chihuahua.

  30. Jonathan Halsey on October 19, 2021 at 10:04 am

  32. Vanlife Midlife Rocks on October 19, 2021 at 10:04 am

Haha – seems like we’ve all had some oblivious camping neighbours! See if you can top this one … we had a fellow bring his log splitter and proceed to spend his leisure time prepping for the apocalypse! Lol – ok, maybe he was just making a big woodpile, but seriously – wow!

  33. Mar M on October 19, 2021 at 10:06 am

Social campers just say hello or wave .is fine .then if greated then maybe visit longer. Pets if dog is friendly make friends.but never leave your pets alone. Lights you don’t need them on all night. You want that stay in the city or a motel.

  34. Brenda Calderon on October 19, 2021 at 10:06 am

OMG! I’m scared to go to a campground, but we have to with 5 kids. I guess people gonna hate, we’re nice but not quite, well I can only wish my kids would shut up for 5 mins🤣 However I never get that wish, so I don’t know what to tell anyone 😅

  44. Cowboy Geologist on October 19, 2021 at 10:18 am

I can’t stand people having their bright camping lights on. If you have cataracts, like a lot of older people, the lights don’t have to be very bright it be blinding, or very annoying. I just looked at a new fifth wheel and the sales lady was going on and on about the outside built in TV and speakers. I would never use that around other people. When I camp, I don’t want blasting music, loud drunks or bright lights.

  45. Chris Chapman on October 19, 2021 at 10:20 am

Wind chimes…. interesting. I’m not one to have them but still find the relaxing sounds of them. Interesting……

  46. Matt Benson on October 19, 2021 at 10:20 am

People who leave there dog crap on others sites or on walking trails just irritates me

  47. David DeHass on October 19, 2021 at 10:20 am

Hmmm, this video is a bit cringe.

  48. pojo 10 on October 19, 2021 at 10:22 am

You’re not out on nature you’re in a campground

  49. Sally on October 19, 2021 at 10:23 am

I don’t like lights on all night long either. We can put our blinds down, but there are little slits where the light sneaks through and more often than not it shines right into our eyes. We’re a truck camper so the light shines up into our windows. I don’t like wearing eye masks at night just to keep out the lights from YOUR camper. In my opinion light is viewed the same as noise/music. It’s annoying to your fellow campers.

  50. L'nae Luza on October 19, 2021 at 10:24 am

One more: the guy in project mode with the disorganized RV opening and closing every bay door over and over (looking for a tool or whatever). We all have projects, but either close the doors gently, or get more organized.
