How We Got Here:
We’re Tal & Mads – a Nurse & Teacher couple from Toronto, Canada who fell in love while traveling the world together. When we adopted our dog Bowie, we decided the best way to continue traveling would be in our self built camper van, Billie. We hit the road in January 2022 and drove all the way through the United States and into Mexico. We thought creating vlogs would be a great way to keep our friends and family updated and be a wonderful memento of our travels.

You guys are adorable!β€ As a retired Chef, I do appreciate you not easily stealing the title but usually, whoever’s cooking is the chef ( lower case) your " helper" is the sous chef. The carrots, onions, celery mix? In french is the mirepoix. ( basic base mix for everything) you’re great chefs. I appreciate and adore nurses. You’re so important. I get so emotional and happy when I watch you guys on your adventures. I think about my Niece and her wife ( Niece In-Law ) on how their life is going. I must say this and please don’t take this the wrong way. I hate this whole LGQTB+ whatever this bullshit is. but you 2 ladies are not forcing it down my throat. Instead you are two amazing woman on a journey enjoying each others company and sharing it with the world. And for that I have the upmost respect and admiration towards you both. Not sure if you have the freezer space but at loblaws or any grocery store, they sell a frozen pack of veggies that includes onion, celery, carrots and red pepper so you don’t have to chop everything up (: Also you can cook your pasta in the sauce when its done, the starch will thicken it a bit from the pasta itself. Everything looks so yummy though!
Every video I’ve watched for awhile suggests I want to watch a day in the life of a nurse video which (as it turns out) is private. Sigh.

Those are some good looking recipes. I’ll have to try them. As an import Mexican, I can only endorse the tostada recipe. One tip for the best guacamole I ever had: Add a few pomegranate seeds… YUMMIE!

Love the tostadas but can’t do Chipotle, everyone else says it’s delicious but to me it tastes like ashtray. aside from that, I do love Cilantro I feel sorry for those who think it tastes like soap. Does anyone still wash their kids mouth out with soap? How else would they know if it Tastes like soap?
