Corona Virus, COVID-19. How is it affecting us Full Time camping?

Fear of the unknown is a mighty force. But have some faith, prepare, and all can still go well. Provision before you go. You are safer BY far in a campground than surrounded by a city of people.

Thank you for the questions and support. Full time living in an RV has it’s challenges. Let alone a hysteria like this virus. But we’ll work through it.

Be safe out there…some states are on lockdown for the entire state and you can’t be out and about freely. If you continue just keep informed as each new day comes about…not allowing fear to ruin your trips is awesome…but use your wisdom and gut feelings. The shelves wouldn’t remain empty if everybody took a little and left some for others…trying times right now!

For those of you in the Northern California and Southern Oregon area, if you prefer to camp in a park, we will open during this pandemic period, but with rules. https://www.quigleysstation.com/ Please stay healthy, stay safe and have fun!

Stay safe & hoping you continue to find campgrounds. So far if they open in March here in Minnesota, they are still taking campers.

I am so angry at this situation. Well, frustrated but this hoarding is out of control! It’s everywhere! Dadgum, I would give anything to meet up at Palo Duro, but it’s not possible. It’s unique and beyond belief how awesome it is. Watch for snakes for real. Tell Linda I love the curtains. Can you get a close up of them for me?
Be safe dear friend. I am just immersing myself in sewing. I think you are so cool!
    More…more

Dear Garlands; people are not hoarding..we will be on quarantine lockdown for 2-6 weeks or more!! I would say minimum a month by how bad it is in Italy! I have to praise your President Trump, he got our idiot Prime Minister to close our borders(we have illegals coming in every day), it took your President to stop it! Plz!!! Buy enough food to stay away from stores for a month. Because this virus is 30x more contageous than the flu and deadly. Plz don’t risk your life. It is going to be bad here on Vancouver Island. They just reported that someone infected(you get this and are infectious for 6-10days b4 you get symptoms)was working at a 7-11, and are asking people who went in that store on certain days, to get tested. Italy has been seeing 6-700 people die per day!!!! Every day!!! This virus is new, they dont know much about it but china has said that tracing it, they found it can be transmitted 15ft from each other and can stay in the air for 3hrs!!! North America is about to change. Our help line is backed up 4hr wait just to talk to someone.well I could go on and on..been following this since January(msm will not tell you everything) I watch Dr. John Campbell on Youtube.

Most store have merchandise but no one to stock shelves. It would be a good time to pick up extra money instead of sitting at home.

Are you saying that you are moving from big City to Little City still traveling unknowing if you’re spreading the virus obviously you should have more respect for the rest of America after over 30 years of being a nomad keep traveling around and find out what our government does to us

Panic buying is the most stupid thing to do. As soon as this is over, you will be stuck with all that stuff you bought. You will NOT be able to return any of it! Store managers need to change the way they do business, like LIMITING the amount you can buy.
